When exiting highway 285 onto FR 309 note there is a tight angle if headed westbound. Eastbound is the better entry if towing a trailer. Initially the road is a bit bumpy, but once entering the land of Chubb Park Ranch SWA it becomes well graded and smooth. It is mostly a one land road but widens occasionally for passing.

The road can become muddy during snowmelt or the monsoon. Chubb Park Ranch is closed from December to April for wildlife protection.

Once you reach the cattle ring fencing you will see a green gate. Open the gate and site #1 is directly on your right as you enter.

All the sites in the designated area are large and level. They are well suited for toy haulers and big rigs. Each site is numbered and contains a metal fire ring. The sites are mostly sunny.

Prior to the "no camping past this sign" there is a tight turn around at site #12. Long rigs may need to back into site #12 to make this turn.

We had no AT&T or Verizon Coverage. Due to tree location to the north of the sites the area is not suitable for Starlink.
