Seeing other reviews about how tight the spaces are, I don’t think they are any tighter than other places I’ve stayed.
The gravel parking pads are narrow, but camp worker did excellent job of guiding me into back in spot. I told him, I’ll put (Anderson type) leveling blocks down and pull forward couple inches to level. He said, “Looks pretty level to me” When I turned on LevelMatePro it showed level side to side. Front to back is fairly steep, I had to bring nose up 8.75 inches to level lengthwise.
Petting Zoo with 2 calves, 2 baby goats and 2 lambs. They bottle feed at 9am and 6pm, if you’re there at that time you can feed them.
Shady spots if you want shade, sunny spots if you want solar, I was asked my preference.
Only downside was shower stalls are extremely narrow, and coon operated. 25 cents for 8 minutes, do not expensive just inconvenient.

To say things are cramped is an understatement. Our neighbors awning was only a couple inches away from our slide. We stayed there four nights and are still cleaning the dust out of our RV and vehicle. The sights were so cramped, that we had to hook up at a 90° angle. We could not wait to get out of there. I can’t speak to the facilities because we never used the laundry or the shower house.

We were “lucky” to get a spot and the manager let us know that. Cash or check only. No 50amp left. Had to use 30amp.

Management had to tell our neighbors to move their vehicles so we could get into our site. Still had vehicles in the way. Took two tries from different angles to get into site. Management did not stick around to help get us in the site.

Our neighbor’s awning was six inches from our slide and our awning was six inches from the other neighbor’s slide. No place for extra vehicle parking and everyone else had extra vehicles.

The infrastructure worked. But we had no picnic table and no fire pit. Packed. We had to step over the neighbor’s sewer line to cook on the truck tailgate.

Just too crowded for the money. Lots and lots of loud kids and dogs. We had to stay due to Rx.

Spearfish is nice.

The people here are great, the pools are very nice and the grounds are well kept. However, I have never seen so many rigs shoehorned into a space. It was actually interesting/entertaining to watch some of the rigs try to park in such tight spaces. We were lucky to be in a spot that really wasn’t a RV spot therefore giving is a bit of room, no shade. They were prepared and provided extra electrical, water, cable hookups because the hookups were Quite a distance from other sites. Pay showers which I always question even though I don’t use them. Central to see Sturgis, spearfish canyon drive, don’t miss the trout hatchery, and Deadwood. There was a great Friday free concert in Spearfish. Even though I might not stay again I would still recommend especially if you have kids for the pool experience.
