Overall Rating
We arrived on a Thursday (mid July) at 9:00 am and went straight to Sockeye (also 1st come), there was a line of people waiting and all had already scouted the campground for which sites were available that day) and many had talked to campers occupying and leaving. It was my initiation to getting a site at Redfish Lake.
We then went on to Chinook Bay to try to get a site. I found a site that would be vacated and talked to the campers, ate breakfast in the van as they packed up.... All sites were gone by 10am and the campground host never bothered removing FULL sign, since they filled up as soon as they were vacated!
Redfish lake is very popular with families, theres swimming and boating, hiking and mountain biking. Boat, bike rentals, restaurant, dump ($5), showers ($2 for 5 min).
I'd stay again but I'd try to reserve ahead!
