Are the sites pet friendly or not? I have looked out over one year and no availability is showing pet friendly for RV...

New camp ground open this season. Overall the facility is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The views of the bay are hard to beat. Nice boardwalk that runs the full length of the waterfront. Few night of the week they would have a food truck and one night they had some live music.
The sites are what you would expect but being new plants are all very small. Give it a few years and they should all fill in. The one main down side is the lights thru out the campground. Bright yellow light depending on your site you might as well just go to a Walmart parking lot.
From the campsite to the town is 10 minutes drive and to the beach is about 20 minutes.

“Beautiful Location; Friendly Staff; Brand New”

I really liked this RV park, even though we usually stay in state and federal parks and are used to more room. The sites were still pretty big for an RV park, and the waterfront sites had stunning views. My only complaint is the large BRIGHT street lights that sprinkle the park. I’m happy we weren’t under one of them. More good stuff: I really liked the pool. Very clean with kiddie area and big umbrellas shading part of it. Also very clean, air conditioned, brand new bathrooms with three shower stalls and plenty of hot water. Friendly staff drove around in golf carts. Someone regularly picked up any garbage bags that you leave at end of site. Lots of rose bushes and other vegetation will look even nicer in a few years. We were there four nights midweek in august, and it was maybe a quarter full. It took about 20 minutes to drive the whole way to beach on Assateague, and about 12 minutes to Island Creamery (a must stop!). Price paid is average per night for FHU waterfront and includes resort fee and taxes.
