Chill Hill RV Camp

The owner, Arlene, was a savior for us during the initial stages of the COVID-19 crisis. The national historic park campground we were staying in closed and we had to leave mid-stay. We found Chill Hill on Campendium and gave Arlene a call. Despite not normally having guests so early in the season, she welcomed us onto her property and even had her landscaping service come mow and trim before our arrival (less than 24 hours notice)!

The site is situated with a view of a beautiful mountain and has full hookups, even cable TV! If you have a bigger rig, the driveway may be a bit steep for you, but we just barely were able to get up and down without bottoming out our 29' class C.

This was the perfect, private place for us to hunker down as society plunged into chaos around us. We cannot thank Arlene enough and hope to stay here again in the future!

We were looking for an alternative to packed campgrounds when we came across Chill Hill. The hosts were more than accommodating and friendly. Two spacious sites with 50 amp hook up as well as septic and water, fire rings, picnic tables, gravel parking pads and large grassy area. Very reasonably priced. The grounds were kept very clean. Dog friendly, beautiful private dog run for your furry friends. Property sits off a quite road with the beautiful sound of a running creek, very relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning!
