“Dump Works But Still No Water”

I was here a hear ago and they were having water problems. They still are. You can dump but water vending is not available and neither is rinse or any other water. Bathrooms are closed. There’s an outhouse outside.

This is a touch of what desert outback means. As good as it gets in the outback. They are having well water problems and taking forever to get Permits, inspections and so on. It will soon be fixed…please stop by and get a little sand in your shoes and say hi. Keep them prosperous BUY SOMETHING!

We stopped here to fill up on propane and water before heading into the Pine Knob LTVA down the road. Very easy access for large rigs to pull up to the propane tank and the water. There’s a water filtration station that costs $1 for 5 gallons but if you pay $15 for the dump you can fill up water from the spigot about 20 feet away from ... more
We stopped here to fill up on propane and water before heading into the Pine Knob LTVA down the road. Very easy access for large rigs to pull up to the propane tank and the water. There’s a water filtration station that costs $1 for 5 gallons but if you pay $15 for the dump you can fill up water from the spigot about 20 feet away from the sewer. It’s well water which is fine for us since we have an onboard filter and also a Berkey water filter for drinking water.

$15 for a 32ft trailer which is very reasonable for this area. Water is non potable, but we don't drink out of our RV tanks anyway. There is a filtered water outlet here too for water jugs. Set up is roomy and kept clean. This place does get very busy...have used it 5-6 times in mid week and there's always a line.

What can I say? It's a dump station. A pricey one at that! They charge by the foot and I don't know what the magic number is to trigger the next higher/lower price. I used the dump station twice and once said I was 20' and once said I was 24'. Charged $15 each time. I stayed a couple of weeks at the nearby BLM American Girl Mine Roa... more
What can I say? It's a dump station. A pricey one at that! They charge by the foot and I don't know what the magic number is to trigger the next higher/lower price. I used the dump station twice and once said I was 20' and once said I was 24'. Charged $15 each time.
I stayed a couple of weeks at the nearby BLM American Girl Mine Road location (which is awesome, BTW) and used the Chevron Station to dump. Fellow campers also filled their fresh water tank at the nearby well water hose that said not suitable for drinking. Use at your own risk, right? ;)
