I drove 10 miles to get there only to find the septic cap locked and a sign stating it was closed permanently due to "lack of use". I drove 10 miles to get there only to find the septic cap locked and a sign stating it was closed permanently due to "lack of use". I was directed to the Chevron in Davis on the other side of I-80 (about a half mile away) and they charged $20. I was there on 9/19/2023.
It was tight access as far as length is concerned. You can drive close to the septic but you can't back up with a 40 ft motorhome if you have a car on the back. There's a curb directly in front of you (at your front bumper) with a big tree in it to go around. My car, a jeep, for example, cannot be backed up in tow mode (per manufacturer and it does lock the wheels on the car anyway) so if I had my car I would have been stuck unhooking, etc. (Just putting that out there in case they decide to open it again at some point)
FWIW: the Chevron in Davis on the other side of 80 also has propane but it's hit or miss if there's anyone there to actually dispense it.

“Our favorite place to dump”

Convenient, right off the freeway, clean/well-lit, friendly staff… Bring your own hoses. One star lost due to no water flush (main line broken during this last visit)

Just of I 80, easy pull thru located behind the store. Free, just have to leave ID with the clerk to get the key. Clean enough. Hookup for water, need to use your own water hose.

first time on this gas station. dump is still free, easy access for our 22 ft sprinter. great customer service and facility is clean including restroom. the dump area has locked, u need to provide id for the key (just don't forget to get it back). like any rule, keep it clean so they continue to provide free service. they have car was... more
first time on this gas station. dump is still free, easy access for our 22 ft sprinter. great customer service and facility is clean including restroom. the dump area has locked, u need to provide id for the key (just don't forget to get it back). like any rule, keep it clean so they continue to provide free service. they have car wash, vacuum and of course gas including diesel #2. it would be 5 stars if they also carry LPG refill for tanks like our rv. We like the facility so we filled up our gas tank with diesel. will keep this on my list as one of my fav place to use.

Free dump station, easy to access and plenty clean. Dump spot is around back near the car wash. Give the guy inside the Chevron shop your ID in exchange for the keys to the faucet padlock.
