“A huge campground filled with RV's”

The section for tents (and where we stay in our small van as we don't need hookups) is relatively quite small and off in a corner of this large resort. That's fine. Not really a great camping experience but fine for a night. This would be a great place to stay with a bunch of kids or for a family reunion - especially during the summer when the pools are open - and even off-season there were kids riding bikes everywhere. That's a somewhat different experience than what we are looking for, but this was fine for a one-night stop on our way through the area. The bathhouses were a little far from the tent section (which seems odd as they are more likely used by tent campers) but were otherwise great. Large, clean, great showers.

“Very nice, quiet, inexpensive offseason camping.”

Stopped here before heading down south. It was abnormally cold, even for December, so there were only a handful of RVs in the whole place. The staff in the office was very friendly and helpful. Camp was muddy, as it had recently rained, but in good shape other than that. Water had been shut off for the season, but one bathhouse remained open. It was heated and had great hot water, very clean. There were piers one could walk out on and fish from, multiple dog walk areas, outstanding wifi, and beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay and shore birds flying around the camp. $17 per night in the offseason. Can't beat that.
