Been there to climb many times and camped out in a tent all of those time. Full working bathrooms with a “kitchen” area at the pavilion. Plenty of outlets available as well. There is a walmart nearby and a couple fast food places.

“Verizon only has one bar $25 for a van. They also want to charge extra for extra cars.”

The drive-in is long off the highway if you’re just doing it for one night I don’t recommend it. Overall big disappointment

The meh:
The facililities are good but not large enough. Only one lockable bathroom for each gender.
The bad:
If you have an RV, beware. While there are a lot of camping spots, there are only some that are RV-sized (and level ish), rather than tent sized. The worst part is I found a lot of tent campers using the RV camping spots while I was here. :(
Another negative is extremely poor trail markings. Some trails are obvious with how worn the area is, but some are not obvious - especially in fall with all the leaves covering the ground.
Overall I would definitely come back but maybe during the week to ensure I could find an RV spot that is kind of level.

This place has amazing views. We came after hours (self pay box), plenty of spots. We have a truck camper but you could come here in an RV. Super quiet, has a dump station, fire pits, showers (scalding hot is only temp) and playgrounds. I even had service!

Such a beautiful little, laid back, out of the way spot. Wish we had more time to linger, but we'll be back. No hook-ups and no reservations, but the views are incredible. The rock formations are beautiful to scramble over under around and through. There are restrooms and showers and a dump station. The staff couldn't be any more friendly. The park is unique in that it is basically self-run. All fees go directly toward maintaining the park. It is not "county" run, but it is owned outright by the county board of commissioners so funding doesn't come from the county itself but private donations and grants. They are currently trying to get a grant to add electric sites. Trust me it is a gem of a place. Well worth a stop if you are passing through. And if you are a rock climber, you will discover a little piece of heaven here in this little corner of northeastern Alabama.
