Our site pull-through, large enough for 38' MH and toad. Lake is pretty at sunset. Can walk around it and I think fish but cannot get in it in any manner.

Seems to be a lot full term campers but everyone was considerate of campground rules. Sites need some work, broken up concrete pad and some gravel. Sites are very close together and not very level. No picnic table or fire pit but that was okay cause we were just passing through. Didn’t use bathhouse but checked it out… mens is closed due to remodeling and that’s a good thing cause the entire building is in disarray. Laundry room looked nice. If passing through it’s a good campground in a pinch.

Large campground with beautiful private lake. There seemed to be a lot of long-term residents. My wife and I spoke to several of them and everyone was nice. We were assigned us pull-through full hookup site #6. It was a bit tough to level but we got it done. Unfortunately a terrible ant infestation occurred on our third day. Make sure to spray lots of bug killer around your wheels and jacks if you stay at this site. Office staff members Regina and Rebekah were incredibly kind! Rebekah went out over her way to mention local places of interest. Regina also said that it was ok to wash our tow car. Thank you so much! The campground wifi worked great if we stood in the back of our motorhome. No complaints though because it was free. My AT&T phone had a weak signal (only 1 bar) and the hotspot didn't work. Decent laundry facilities and it was only $2.00 to either wash or dry.

Super cheap rate for military! Regina could not have been more welcoming when I came in. Only stayed one night and hooked up to power and sewage but didn’t use any campsite facilities, so I can’t speak to those. My space was on a bit of a slope, but they were slammed with 93/95 spots taken so I’ll take what I can get! Location takes a ... more

Location takes a bit of a hit on my ratings but only because the closest grocery store was 5 miles away. She did mention a Publix is being built a mile away though, so that will be nice. Will definitely come back through here if I’m in the area

The electric hook-up was at the opposite end of the pad from the water and sewer hook-ups. Some neighbors were friendly, others were a bit suspicious of us as interlopers based on how many times they walked past our area. Overall, would only stay again in a pinch. Map to follow.

Site 19 was easy to get into and out of and all of the utilities (EWS) were in the correct location and easily accessible. Trees are plentiful and provide the cozy sheltered look to the campground, but they also block satellite access for a roof-mounted satellite dish. I didn't see any cable connection.
The campground was clean, manicured, and decorated for Easter (we stayed the Thursday before Easter). I found the overall look of the campground appealing. The staff was exceptional and helpful as I needed an overnight stay near Birmingham during the general COVID-19 campground shutdowns and shelter-in-place directives.

Love the rustic, quiet wooded area. Owner William is a good guy, loves the Military and is supportive and Patriotic. Easy pull through. Lots of folks here, some are working in local area. would have loved to stay longer.
