We settled here after our nearby harvest host did not respond to our request! We saw "rv campground" on the roadside sign as we exited for gas and that was for Pavillion rv Park. OMG they had everything in there from a homeless tent to a Beacon 5th wheel! Looked way too sketchy to us.
We reached out here and got the answering service, were told to go ahead and pick a site and they'll be by in the morning for the $$. According to locals it's pronounced Sweeney. We were the only rv so a quiet nite was had. However the spots are pretty tight. We looked huge with our 35'. Looked pretty neglected but perhaps is off-season?
30A, picnic table and grille. Gravel pad and cement table area.

We stayed here in mid March before the trees leafed out. The park is on a lake with what looks like cypress trees for as far as you can see. Those along with the leafless trees and Spanish moss give a monochrome but pretty look to the park. RV sites in a turnout from the main road and are close together. Sites have 30A electricity and water, picnic table and grill. Sites are on the side of a hill so some leveling will be involved. Dump station is available near entrance. One downside is that you have to drive back to the office near I-20 to pay and must have a money order or check.

Nice and quiet. Not far from I20 for a quiet and unique overnight stay. Beautiful views of the cypress trees and lake. There’s also a pond on the other side of the park with signs warning of alligators (we didn’t see one). Near the Sheriffs Department firing range and fitness center. Playgrounds for children, large open soccer fields, ... more

We chose this campground for a one night stay while passing through the area. The parking lot was nowhere near level enough for our motorhome. The concrete pad was not clean but was full of winter do you Bree, And the barbecue grill was broken off the pedestal. They have only back in sites with no sewer available. 30 amp service was adequate for our needs this time of year. The park was quiet and the parking pads fairly close together. All of the sites that we saw were well shaded. Another app had shown a price of $12 per night, which is what we expected. We were a little shock when the rate almost tripled. We will not be stopping here again
