No option but to eat crow, planning to stay 7 night but park is too much bad, lot of blood sucker mosquito, tick, fly , spider. and park employees are bad too not approachable, one of park ranger keep invading our campsite because they don't like our dog not to touch the ground yes the "campsite floor" while our neighboring campsite th... more

First off if you rig is 11'0" or taller you can't even get into the campground. There is a bridge you have to pass under just after the office/check in station. I'm sure it says this somewhere on their website but I missed it. Fortunately our trailer is only 10 feet high so we made it under without incident. Once inside the campgrou... more

This park is not far from NYC and reasonably priced. It has a very large beach on a lake and several excellent trails to hike. It's large, so you have to drive to get to the lake or nature center.
