J.T. Cheeseman Provincial Park Campground

As mentioned in the previous comments, there really is a problem with potable water in Newfoundland. Nevertheless, the way the staff in this particular provincial park takes care of its campground is worth mentioning. Garbage cans emptied every day and the service building well maintained. Clean washrooms, showers and laundry room.
Either you walk or drive to get to the beach but make sure you go. It really is worth it.
WiFi is still the same, only around the staff building and unfortunately, still no cell coverage (Bell or Vidéotron).
The sites are not necessarily spacious but one can find its match.
A nice place to stop after or before the ferry to fully recharge your batteries.

Garbage and recycling cans at each campsite emptied by staff. Water available, but must be boiled. Mosquitos are bad. There is WiFi at the ranger station. The beach is worth the drive/hike. It is amazing and beautiful. Shower facilities very nice. Perfect place to camp for the night if arriving on the later afternoon/early evening ferry. We also camped here the night before our ferry departure as it guaranteed we were able to arrive at the ferry dock before 10am.

Boil water advisory when we stopped in Sep 11. We arrived with an empty tank since the previous Prov Park in Nova Scotia (Mira Lake) also had a boil water advisory. The nice lady at the check in office told us they "recommended" to not consume the water. I felt like we were supposed to read between the lines of that statement, like maybe it was ok, but she just didn't want to commit. The road driving in was terrible with potholes, we had to pay a park entry pass fee, it just seemed wrong to have to pay an additional fee to camp with no water.

An email from the Park Service advising of the boil water advisory woukd have been nice!

The campground is convenient to the ferry, about 13 minutes, so it is a good option.
