We had a big PT that was easy to get into and level. Back in sites were well spaced too. Laundry efficient but obviously not cleaned on a daily basis. Office is not on site and posted prices do not include tax. It is better to call the office when you arrive for the correct fee. They do offer weekly and monthly rates. The week we were there it was cool, rainy and very windy most of the time. In pleasant weather it would be a pretty walkable area. State parks and coast trail a few minutes down the road. Coos Bay stores about 6 miles. Able to stream with WiFi.

We were flying by the seat of our pants. Abs tried a state park down the road that looked like all the sites were too short for us. Then tried a private nearby which had no way to check in after hours. Then a county park with the same issue and kind of run down. This was easy to access after hours. This was easy to access after hours. Even the 24/7 security was on site and helpful giving us the wifi and bathroom codes etc. it is just a big parking lot but has many pull through with full hookup. I would stay again for an easy to access site.

The RV park/marina is owned/operated by town of Charleston and is very well run. We were here for one week with a big group in September 2019, and I think the price reflects the group rate. The RV park is a big asphalt parking lot but it's right in the middle of things. We had a nice, big pull-through: getting in and out was a breeze. The docks and fishing vessels are a short walk away as are numerous restaurants and shops. The drive down Cape Arago Highway is absolutely beautiful-classic Oregon coast. Good hiking at Sunset Bay SP, with views of Cape Arago Lighthouse. Excellent hike at South Slough Estuarine Reserve. Verizon: 22.1 mps download, 5.08 upload

Wharf 1/2 block away with restaurants and boat charters. A few blocks away is a marine nature center and small beach perfect for dogs and kids and fishing. About 20 minutes away is Coos Bay with shopping and lots of restaurants.
All in all a nice stay.
