Great and essy location right of I-80. Yes you can hear the trucks and the train and smell some feed lot but it’s convenient and actually pretty nice.

The lake is pretty, and the price is right. As others have said the trains are close and frequent. Only 1 other camper midweek when we passed through.

spent one night here in a tent and it was actually quite nice it’s convenient that the spot it right off the highway the noise wasn’t bad but the only downside is the flies they will be swarming you constantly

Just off I80, this city park offers dispersed camping with no amenities. Next to a small lake where locals fish, the location offers shade and fairly level parking. It is quiet area but for the highway and the railroad.
We had no trouble sleeping and we’re grateful for the restful spot. This night we were here, we were the only camper.

This is either a City or County maintained park. There aren't any formal campsites but there are a number of places campers are able to park and that are pretty much level. This is either a City or County maintained park. There aren't any formal campsites but there are a number of places campers are able to park and that are pretty much level. Like other reviews, there will be some noise from I-80 and the UP main lines nearby. But if you've read any of my other reviews, you'll know that I come for the trains.
Twice during my stay a Duell County Sheriff's patrol vehicle came through the park. So it's nice to know it's on their radar screen. It does seem to be a spot for the local youngin's to cruise through on a weekend night. But it wasn't a problem. They'd drive through and then back out again.
The only drawback is no facilities there or nearby. Dump, water, and propane can be found in Sydney or for me, North Platte.

Nice setting, close to I-80. Could hear some trains and low level of highway noise but otherwise quiet and peaceful. Only noticed the bathrooms in the am so not sure if they were open all night (no showers). No signage saying ok to stay there but a city vehicle drove by and the guy only smiled and waved. This was a great place to stop. Level spots quiet. It was on a Sunday and families were swimming and picknicking. We grilled out took a bike ride and slept good. I would definitely stay here again

I needed a quick boondocking spot just off the highway and this was perfect. I arrived just at sunset and was worried it would be hard to find but it was very easy. I needed a quick boondocking spot just off the highway and this was perfect. I arrived just at sunset and was worried it would be hard to find but it was very easy. Multiple campsites around a small lake. No specific site markings. Level ground. Old tiny one landing strip airport just next to lake. No planes. Just beyond it was the Highway. You can hear cars all night. Several other campers with some clearly passing through but others there to fish and have a nice weekend. No community wifi. Cell service was poor and intermittent. This site fit the bill for a quick stop over.

There aren’t any restrooms here which makes things difficult for anyone without a camper. It’s very noisy, it’s right next to two busy roads and a train.
