“Scruffy seasonal C/G with a dozen contractual campers situated under new management.”
Reviewed Jul 02, 2017
Luckily noticed a number of RVs in a field off Cape Road overlooking the ocean. Pulled in and apparently the new owner said he's open, but hasn't had time to straighten up or put up a sign. He said he has 30 amp service, water a and sewer at sites, but we could park where we wish.
We boondocks at the edge of the cliff overlooking a lengthy beach that seemed to extend for miles. The C/G was in a field of thick grass and bordered by an array of wildflowers. The view looking north over the ocean is beautiful. The water is full of crab and lobster trap buoys and you can watch the local fishermen harvest their catch.
The owner claimed there was a dump station and water fill. We didn't see them. There were several smaller buildings in not very attractive shape and they could have been the washing and toilet facilities. I would be prepared to come for the ambience and not for the utilities. No wifi, no playground, no laundry, just camping.
We wanted to spend our last night near the ocean on the water and this gave us that opportunity.
