Camping is pretty packed this time of year in Washington, so we reserved this site.
We dry camped. Site was level. Had a fire pit and picnic table. Friendly neighbors.
Beautiful spot next to the river with a steep bank, so not really accessible.
Very close to highway 410 and other campgrounds. Busy area.
There are many forest roads in the area including Bumping lake.
We had a great time. We explored one forest road and came across an old copper mine.
Very cool. We really like the area and plan on going back in the slower seasons.

“Huge sites”

We stayed her for 2 nights on a first come first serve basis. We were fully self contained in our trailer which is good since access to water is limited to a hand pump located in another site. The host is actually located at Soda Springs CG which is a few miles away. She came by many times and was always very helpful. A few things to know about the sites is that they a little dustier then normal and we shared our site with a large population of black ants. I said I wouldn't stay here a again which might give the impression I didn't care it, which I did, however I would stay at Soda Springs next time.
