We stayed 3 days. campsite was great. I had 2 issues. 1) the pull through sites are angled a bit so the front wheels were off the ground to level, no big deal but first and last step in and out were a bit high. 2) the sewer pipe was cut at an angel so getting a good seal was difficult. other then that it was great. Nice walking path, dog friendly. Camp wifi good enough to watch Netflix and I was working from it. about 7-8 MBps. Verizon was excellent coverage 100+ MBps. no joke

We chose to stay here for 3 days, sight unseen, rather than continue in an electric-only site in Minnesota where we were running short of tank space after a week. Arrowwood Resort...a resort...how bad could that be? Full utilities, plus on the Missouri River, plus it cost more than most, so it was probably special. It turned out that it's a resort only because you can use the resort facilities (which weren't open thanks to Covid). The best campsites, along the water, were obviously taken up by long-term campers, given that many even have porches and steps attached.
But OK, we were in the back side of the campground on dirt sites rather than the concrete pads of the longer-term guests. And we had no trees, while they were quite nicely shaded. But we had a nice view of the river since no one was staying in the sites between us and the river. However, while the sites were large and had full utilities, ours at least left a lot to be desired. In spite of someone driving around around the campground multiple times during each day, that person obviously never checked the site between the last guest and us. There was broken glass all over, and the fire pit was full of trash. The site itself was just dirt, not even gravel, so it was deeply rutted where previous RVs had dug into the mud during a rain, I'd guess.
The sites are laid out very oddly as well. Ours was billed as a pull-through, but I'd call it more of a back-through. Given the one-way roads, the angle of the site, and the location of the electric, water, & sewer, you'd have to make a 120 degree turn to pull in. that would be impossible from the narrow access road. So we had to go around the loop and back-in. Off course we can do this, but it's not a pull through in that case.
It probably doesn't help this reviewer that the weather was horrific while we were here (2nd week of June). That's no fault of the campground, however. Nonetheless, it's important to know that weather can be so variable here. It was 100 degrees and very high winds when we arrived. The following day, the temps dropped and we had horrific rain and thunder storms all night. Those continued on into the 3rd day (by which time it was 56 degrees at the height of the day), and included hail as well. It's not Arrowwood's fault, but it sure did dampen our spirits.
And also, our zero-gravity lounge chairs were stolen from under our trailer when we were out exploring.

Beautiful camp ground on the Missouri River about half way between Sioux Falls and Rapid City. Easy on and off Hwy90 part of the Arrowwood resort so if you want a hot tub, pool and nice river side restaurants it’s a fun camping break for one or two nights. Level pull though sites with full hookups

Our site had concrete parking pad, clean picnic table and fire ring. Although we were one row back from river front, our views were wonderful. Very friendly seasonal folks and helpful staff.
Loved the huge space between sites! Staying at the park gives access to everything at the resort including indoor pool and spa. Campers were putting in their kayaks at the marina. There are also four small rental cabins on the river front.
Satellite and MiFi worked well.

Cedar Shore Campground was a nice midpoint stop as we were moving across SD. The campground is part of the Cedar Shore Resort which is an all inclusive hotel. While staying at the campground we were welcome to use all the facilities at the resort...pool, hot tub, restaurant, bar etc. I'm not sure the previous reviewer was aware of this. The sites in the first part of the campground are all paved concrete with a concrete patio, FHU's, and cable TV. There are many summer people, most with boats since the campground is right on the Missouri River. All of those RV's are very nice and well maintained. There are some gravel sites which aren't as nice and slightly unlevel. Sites all have water view. The laundry was a little strange as it was a washer and dryer right by the check in desk. The park is actually across the river from Chamberlain.

I think the word “resort” in the title is pushing it a bit. This is an RV park - plain and simple. We stayed here mid-week for two nights. It was quiet and our site on the water had a nice view (site 13). The sites are gravel with a lot of room between campsites. The showers were dated but clean.
