“Great Spot, Beautiful Lake”

We stayed one night on a Thursday in mid-May. Great spot, not too busy. No established campsites. Just pull up and park. Lake is clear and beautiful. Great sunset. Not too buggy. No AT&T cell service down by the lake, even with WeBoost. Had to go up to the top, near turn off to get reception. No fees, but folks need to pick up their trash.

“Beautiful Lakefront Spot”

Reviewed 5/5/2024

Overall Rating

This is dispersed camping at a pretty popular fishing spot. Lake is clear and beautiful. Camping is on a gravel/sandy beach. We were there Thursday and Friday then on Saturday several campers showed up with no regard for space because everyone wants to be right on the water. I can see this place getting very crowded with better weather. We are towing a 40 foot fifth wheel and had no problems accessing the camping area and finding a level spot. Dump, water and trash were all easily accessible. There are several campsites in this area and all of them were very nice and big rig friendly. The ditch fortress will be open soon but the road had to be replaced.
