Cedar Bend Park RV Dump Station

The previous review was not for the dump station. Dump is self pay at campground entrance. Envelopes and drop box. Comp station has no potable water but does have hose and water for flush. $5 at this time. The other dump station that is listed in town is taking you to a locked fence with no trespassing signs. Don’t bother.

This little campground is a real jewel. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed, just a few spots left (first come basis). There are 17 spots around the outside with gravel pads, the rest (25) are in the center on grass (park where you like). Pretty level, just a little correction with the Anderson leveler. The grass is very well maintained. Picnic tables and fire rings at every spot. There ate wonderful walking paths down by the river. Camp hosts were super friendly. By Sunday afternoon there were just 3 of us left and one was the camp host! I spent 4 nights here. A few folks would come in for the night but rarely no more than 4-5. This is a must stay spot if you are in NE Iowa.
