Overall Rating
This is a small 10 site campground right on the water. There are 3 waterfront sites and the rest require a walk to the day use area. Beautiful falls, apparently a popular swimming spot in the summer. Pit toilets, water spigots, and trash receptacles provided. Site 3 was level, and most others looked the same. 100% reservable, so that’s one down side. I was there October ’21 and all the waterfront sites were reserved, but I was the only one in the entire campground for most of my stay. Very quiet and peaceful, all roads leading to area paved. The fall colors were stunning. No reception with AT&T. No camp host when I was there, and I never saw anyone, but the toilets were clean. Toilet paper was out one day, and restocked the next. I think weekends are busier, I was there Sunday-Wednesday. Also worth mentioning is that your rig must be < 3 tons and under 12’ as there is a covered bridge with those restrictions. The campground itself has some very tight turns and is not suited to larger rigs. I was in a campervan, so no problem.

Rude unhelpful hosts who are simply parasites benefitting from the camp host system. In our many years of camping we have never encountered anything like it.
BLM number displayed at campground says the campground is first come first serve. Host claims reservation only. According to the tags none of the sites were booked for the night. Host hung a campground full sign! They would rather not deal with campers.
After a winding 30 mile drive from I5 this was a major disappointment.
