We where first going to stay here under the Harvest Host program, but it was soooo HOT in the 90's that we paid for the night in the campground. They have electric and water. They campground is clean and so where the bathrooms. There was only one other camper while we where there. It was quite and peaceful. We camped at Cave Without A ... more
We where first going to stay here under the Harvest Host program, but it was soooo HOT in the 90's that we paid for the night in the campground. They have electric and water. They campground is clean and so where the bathrooms. There was only one other camper while we where there. It was quite and peaceful. We camped at Cave Without A Name in a Motorhome. We didn't have to unhook our tow trailer. Took the tour in the morning, and it was one of the best guide tours i have gone on. The people who work in the store where helpful and friendly. The Cave was Fascinating.

This campground is very private and way off the road with a locked gate at night. I was the only camper there the first night. I stayed in my jeep rigged for camping. There is a bathroom with warm shower and very clean. There are electric hookups and non-potable water hookups, along with picnic table, and fire ring. Deer everywhere. Si... more
This campground is very private and way off the road with a locked gate at night. I was the only camper there the first night. I stayed in my jeep rigged for camping. There is a bathroom with warm shower and very clean. There are electric hookups and non-potable water hookups, along with picnic table, and fire ring. Deer everywhere. Sites are not paved. I brought my dog with me so I did not go on the cavern tour. It is beautiful here, though. The second night there were 3 RV’s and myself. Definitely would stay here again. The first night, there was a wedding in the cavern.

We were looking for somewhere to camp after leaving Padre Island. The hills of Texas are so inviting. This campground has a unique name- Cave Without a Name. We were looking for somewhere to camp after leaving Padre Island. The hills of Texas are so inviting. This campground has a unique name- Cave Without a Name. We camped here with our son-in-law and daughter and our son. This campground was perfect. Super clean bathhouse. Practically brand new. Quiet and peaceful. We could hear an owl for part of the night which was relaxing to us. The price was right on this stay. We even decided to go on a cave tour which was spectacular. We walked from our campsite to where the tour began. We will definitely stay here again when we are in this area.

We arrived there with our Harvest Hosts membership, so had a free first night. But so much appreciated it that we decided to stay an extra paying night. So quiet, no lighting over night, just nature. But must know there's no sewer, no dump station and the water hookup is not drinkable.
You must visit the cave, impressive. They do concert sometimes in the cave must be such an experience!
