This campsite is definitely one of my favorites. It was so clean and the sites were pretty spaced out. We stayed right on the water so it was more pricey but totally worth it. This park has so much to offer with the dog parks, pool, zip lining, gym, and very nice and clean bathrooms and laundry room! Will be going back.

Large property. Generous space for each rig. Note that Zip Line, pool, kids water park was closed for the winter. My husband was able to work in our trailer which was convenient thanks to internet!.
Enjoyed walking around best. Also impressed that every day bagged trash is picked up at your site.
Would use the gym and Kayak if we came back.
I would call for reservations rather than booking online if you have particular concerns or needs. The staff are very accommodating.

This park has some of my favorite restrooms ever. Trails to walk dogs and little dog parks. I enjoyed the huge common picnic/fire pit area. It really has everything if you are needing a touch of luxury while RVing.
We originally planned to stay Catherine Lake State Park and switched at the last minute. I am really glad we did. We visited Catherine Lake Park and while cheaper and you are definitely more in nature there is a giant power plant buzzing across the lake.

Learned of the site from review by I Love RV Life. Arrived after 5 on a Sunday after making reservation about midday. Never got a promised set of directions that would have made access simpler. The last few miles were very curvy and up and down. Be aware the park is about a mile from entrance. They had a packet ready with that showed us where to go. Easy pull through site had a great level concrete pad with newer hookups. Wifi was very weak at our site and over air antenna only got 1 station. unfortunately we could not take advantage of the free cable - no patch cable on board. sites had a nice spread and we had open spots on either side. Morning revealed a great looking camp ground. They pickup trash daily from your unit.

Quite, nice staff, WiFi and cable tv. Lots to do in Hot Springs. This is the second time we stayed. This time I brought 30 RVs from my DRV Owners Group with me. Could not ask for a better place.

We were brand new to RV life when we stayed here and we loved it!
We arrived late in the afternoon and the office was closed so we collected our site info from the clearly marked board and made our way to our site.
The neighbor had a visitor parked in our RV site and wasn’t home so we went to a vacant spot and left a voicemail with the office to let them know.
Sites were all concrete and flat. The grounds are really nice and well maintained.
Pros
Location – a good mix of far enough away from Hot Springs that is was quiet but close enough for supplies and sightseeing to be an easy drive
We had site 62 which had a nice tree next to it for shade in the afternoon
Pool
Splash Pad
Kids Playground
Well maintained
Trash collection from your site twice a day
Cons
Normal ones of a private RV park
Lots of spots = lots of people on the weekends/holiday
Private golf carts and kids being allowed to drive them
WiFi coverage is spotty
AT&T cell coverage almost nonexistent
We would stay here again but not over a holiday weekend.

Catherine’s Landing was the first stop on a long camping road trip and ended up being the highlight. We had a riverfront site. Full hookups.
This place has all the amenities you could want and a super friendly staff.
Pool was quiet and relaxing. Kids enjoyed the “splash pad”. We rented a pontoon boat for 3 hours and explored the lake/river. Front desk area has emergency camper supplies, snacks, beer, wine, firewood and souvenirs.
I needed some firewood but was hanging out by the pool and the front desk area was closing... they offered to have it delivered to the site. Wood was waiting next to the fire ring when we got back.
On-site laundry was very convenient.
We did not get around to trying out the Zipline but will on our next trip out.
It’s close enough to town that you can head out for a restaurant dinner if you would like.
This place was so great that we almost changed our last night camping site to return but we ended up skipping Hot Springs on the way back.
We are looking forward to staying here again when we return to Hot Springs AR!

Usually when you're choosing a place to park your RV you have to choose between a beautiful setting in nature and having amenities. Catherine's Landing has both if you're willing to pay more for a great location close to Hot Springs National Park (about ten miles away.)
Value:
Even with a Good Sam discount, the cost was $45/night so this is a more expensive park. The park quality is excellent though with large, level sites with full hook-ups and well-kept grass and trees throughout the park. We got there the day after heavy rain and most of the sites were dry. We had site #68 and although it's not on the water, we had a view of the lake since the park was pretty empty when we stayed there.
To get the most value for your $, take advantage of the amenities. There are two off-leash dog runs, two laundromats, a pool, and a large, new clubhouse with sitting area and small workout room (that has a couple good quality machines and 24 hour access.) We also saw signs for disc golf and a zip line so there look to be many options for activities.
Dog-Friendliness:
The park is very dog-friendly: the dog runs were kept up and the size of the park and limited traffic during the week gave a couple options for walking our pup. Many campers had pups with them.
Runner's and Biker's Rave:
Your safest bet is the mile or so of interior park roads before you get to the main road. The main road itself is very curvy and doesn't have a shoulder or sidewalk so you'll need to be careful where you run or bike.
WHJ Insider Tip:
The park offers a couple different rates (depending on how certain you are of your dates) and has a large number of sites. Ask about different rates and if you don't want to pay extra to be right on the lake, see if you can get a site across from the lake spots for a nice view.
Overall, we'd recommend Catherine's Landing if you're willing to pay a bit more for a beautiful park with all the amenities!

This park is a jewel in the woods. Located on the Ouachita River, this campground offers something for everyone and is very convenient to Hot Springs. RV sites are concrete pads and are average size with little privacy. But the views of the river and the surrounding woods are serene. We were on a full hook up site with cable TV. The Wifi was adequate - although a bit slow at times.
Check in was easy. The office was located next to a pool and play ground area. There were cabins, yurts, and tent camping areas as well. They are expanding the campground and building a Zip Line course, so we had some construction noise during the week days. There is a frisbee golf course and a few short hiking trails. Kayaks and pontoon boats were also for rent. The bathhouses all looked new and there was a laundry facility as well. There is a small dog park, it had rained quite a bit and it was muddy so we didn't use it.
It was crowded - due to Spring Break - but I think this will continue to be a popular site so reserve ahead of time!
