Everyone was very friendly, there is some vegetation between the sites for a bit of privacy, a laid-back vibe, and a good mix of people, rigs, short term/long term. Clean bathrooms/showers. Nice pool and hot tub. Very dog friendly. Pickleball! We extended our stay a couple of days and will be back for sure. Mind you, it is in a downtown area, so there is some traffic, planes, risk of theft, but we felt safe and chill and just practiced good travel common sense regarding our belongings.

We’ve stayed here several times so far usually for 4 days at a time. We have only encountered friendly people and the sites are clean with some desert dust mixed in. Hookups are great and appropriately placed. Spaces are semi-private via tall shrubs. There is a pool and hot tub on-site and 2 off leash dog runs.

Facilities were cleaned multiple times a day, and the pool/spa maintained daily. Everyone we met was friendly. Park has different events during week (cheeseburger fridays, bonfire Friday nights, breakfast sundays, etc). I agree with others that the park could be improved quite a bit with some perimeter security (fence repairs, gated entrance). The park offers great views of the mountain range. As mentioned, the sites are fairly narrow.

Easy check in although some mix up at checkin and our travel partners were put in another persons site but thankfully didn’t have to move. We had a no sewer site which was fine except its along a strip that backs onto a public trail. Our first night our locked mountain bikes had parts stolen. Our next door neighbors bikes were actually stolen. When I mentioned it at the front office all i was told is it happens a lot. I can file a police report if i want First if they fix the fence and plant some bushes or put a privacy fence up it may deter theft. We also noticed random cars driving thru sites. There should be a security check in to stop this. Wifi doesn’t work. No cable and sites were dirty
On the plus side it’s convenient to town hiking and parks

Sites are separated by hedges, which is a nice touch. Downtown Palm Springs is a 15-minute drive. Not enough length to stay hitched overnight.

Recommend paying for the spots with hedges otherwise your pretty open and it can get dusty. Huge spots.

We have never been to Cathedral palms RV park before but when we arrived, they put us at the front gate in their temporary lot. We booked in November and had to do an online check in the day before we arrived so I would assume they knew we were coming. I had booked a nice place in the middle of the park but they say they gave it away to someone else who was staying longer.
The front gate was noisy, dusty, lacked privacy and all around was a bad setup. That coupled with minimal to no internet, no cable hookup’s and our neighbors got their bike stolen. Apparently that is not the only bike to get stolen from this “Oasis”. As we discussed with others, it became apparent that this is an ongoing theme at this park. Homeless come in and items leave with them. So unless you want to lock everything up, don’t stay here.
Additionally, the staff is less than helpful. If anything happens all you get is “I am sorry” and that’s it.
So they had my reservation since November, gave away my chosen site, made us sit at the front gate and didn’t even get much of a sorry. When we mentioned the bikes being stolen, their reply is it’s your own fault. Get better locks. What a great atmosphere they create here. Makes you want to come back for more…. Said no one ever!

Though it didn’t offer any pull through, it was roomy enough to back our 30ft Airstream. We’re appreciative of Dave being informative and helpful. Wifi was not functional but we could use our hotspot. No surprises with full hookups. It’s conveniently located between Palm Springs and Palm Desert.
