We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. We were in site B24 for 14 days in late October. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The FHU sites are relatively new and the CG is very clean, quiet, peaceful and well maintained. The sites are currently gravel, but many are surprisingly unlevel back to front and spacing varies quite a bit from very close to fairly reasonable. There are apparently plans to concrete the gravel pads.
AT&T coverage was dismal, ranging from 1 to 0 bars of LTE speeds varying from 0 to 0.5 MB/s. CG WiFi was inconsistent, with speeds from next to zero and up to 1.5 MB/s. There are plans to upgrade it in the next year or so. We were not able to get DISH coverage on any of the western satellites at our site do to a large oak tree to the SW. We were able to get 17 OTA channels with our omni antenna.

The first few sites in the new section don’t have shade but the camp host were amazing and there was lots of space for walking the dogs and for the grandson to play. Cavern tour is a MUST! If you have kids gem mine and splurge on the Bonanza Bucket what a fun activity to do with the kiddos!! The trails are easy and moderate but they are well kept and marked as well as wide in most spots. Small climbing wall for kids at the park across the street from the new section. Was a short walk to the bath house and old section but we just drove if needed after dark. Just a relaxing and educational weekend.

We stayed in the new section (1-25) which has full hookups. Big, level spots. Wi-Fi was poor when there were several campers but when most left the Wi-Fi was excellent. The only negative is that the bathrooms are a hike from the new section. A tour of the cave is a must.

Sites 1-5 are pulll-thru but are close to each other. The bathhouses are clean and the showers are large. There was only one other camper in the park. The only noise was from cars coming from the Cathedral Caverns on a road above the campground. The entrance is a short distance from the campgrounds. After dark, we didn't see a car until the next morning. We had no cell phone service until we turned on our booster.
