Overall Rating
Spent two nights here, the site was right on the water. The only downside to this location are the duck hunters. They come at around 4:30am to launch there canoes. Overall I would recommend for a night or two

Overall Rating
We ended up here because the site we planned on was closed due to Hurricane Florence. We drove about 5 miles on a dirt road with lots of potholes but made it easily in our sedan. The site was full of trash when we got there but after picking up a bit it was a nice view. There seems to be a military base nearby - jets and helicopters flew by for a few hours after dark. Overall, it was a nice enough place and free. I would be cautious about staying in the rain.
