Great little campground. Easy access. 31 spots, 10 are first come first serve. Late afternoon on a Friday it filled up. We did not get any ATT service anywhere near or in campground. Hosts were very pleasant. Definitely recommend.

Lots of campers young & old like us, but very quiet at night! Our bloodhound was welcome on all trails. Lots of birds to watch. We will definitely be back!

We stumbled on this campground and so glad we did. Flush toilets and several water stations. The campground offers a variety of sites (tent, pull through, back-in) to fit a variety of trailers. Spots are fairly level and it’s an easy on/off I-70. Sites have fire ring and picnic table.

Met all expectations, confirming many of the posts here. Host was awesome, place was very clean and quiet. Proximity to excellent hiking, museum and easy access to petroglyths. Do it.

The campground has a creek running through it and wonderful views. The rock art in the area is outstanding.
If you go, be sure to say hi to Bill!

Numerous pull through sites, potable water you can hook a hose to and fill tanks, flush toilets. Excellent camp host, comes back every year. Hiking trail at end of campground runs along creek. Non-reservable sites are towards entrance to campground, become reservable after camp host, but I think the first sites are nicer anyway.

We were surprised when we came in Friday afternoon that there were still several sites left. They did not fill up over the weekend either. It was nice and quiet. The host was very friendly and helpful. Your camping fee gets you free entrance to Fremont Indian State Park museum and all exterior exhibits. There are many nice spots here. The interior spouts closer to the creek are generally better with more shade.

We stopped for one night at this very pleasant campground at the beginning of July. The weather was quite warm during the day, but the elevation at this location, as well as the numerous trees, helped keep the temperatures in our Class B RV comfortable over night. Scenery is quite pretty.
The camp host is very diligent about keeping the sites clean and raked and the bathrooms (toilets only) were also quite clean. There are both single ($15) and double ($30) sites around a loop, most of which are pull-in or tent sites. There are both reserved and walk-in sites. Larger RVs and 5th wheels are not likely to fit well in many sites, so check the reservations system and map if you need a pull-through space. Some of the sites have very nice views of the rock formations, including just past the host site (#12,14,16) and on the far side of the loop (#23).
The host mentioned that as paying visitors to the campground, we could visit the nearby Museum for no additional cost. Payment at the campground (for walk-ins) is by envelope, so suggest bringing exact change. Also, reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance (https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/fremont-indian/).
We use AT&T (no booster) and didn't have cellular service in spot #14.

Cool hiking trail. Awesome rock pillars to explore. A small stream. Good shade trees. Cooler temps at night. A wonderful camp host with fire wood. Water and clean bathrooms. It is a short, smooth dirt road from I 70. Quiet.
