Located near Redfish Lake and Stanley it was nicely situated across the river from the road which helped quiet the road noise. The whole river corridor in this area is very busy and even the dispersed camping areas are full. The road in was well maintained and easy to navigate with nice turn around at the end. We found a nice little sandy beach area by the trailhead on the river to swim safely. Very little shade and it was hot! Great water pump and the water was tasty.

If you can’t get close to Redfish this spot is not bad. The River behind the site offers a nice float or fishing. There is a trail at the end of the site.
Road noise was minimal.
