We have a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site 64 for 4 days in mid April. This is a relatively small CG, with ~15 wooded sites that are reasonably spaced. The CG is very clean, recently renovated, well maintained and relatively inexpensive. Most of the sites are water only, but there are a handful of them that also have 50A service. The roads and sites are sandy gravel. Our site had a little bit of slope side to side, but not too bad. There aren’t any hiking trails leading from the CG, but there are others in the area. There are no lights in the CG except the two on the bathhouse, which are unnecessarily as bright as the Sun.
AT&T coverage was pretty dismal, with 1 bar of 5GE service and speeds only up to 0.9 MB/s. The CG has a lot of trees, but the pines only have top foliage, so access and coverage for DISH and Starlink was really good. Starlink was able to get speeds up to 20 MB/s with few if any dropouts. No CG WiFi.

Each site has a fire ring, charcoal grill and picnic table. Our site was level. No-see-ums also camp here! It’s peaceful and quiet. Great place to put in your kayak or fish from the dock. There’s evidence kids like to hangout and drink based on the litter so weekend may be less quiet. Rangers come through several times a day.

Beautiful surroundings! 3 (reservable) back-in only sites (not pull through as mentioned elsewhere), mostly level. Boat dock, trails, pavillion, bathrooms. 4 miles from Eastpoint, then about 1/2 mile to park. Road in good condition.

The money drop box had a temporary sign taped to the post stating no walk ups and to call the provided number or go on the website. 3 sites total, no problem with our 50 ft total airstream and truck. Each site with ring and picnic table. Sites level and spaced out with dense greenery. Vaults clean. Fishing dock. Boat ramp. Garbage receptacle. Large covered picnic area. Keep in mind, the web site had two out of the three sites blocked for reservations likely due to covid.

I suppose the "river" here is called Cash Creek but it is difficult to know for sure as maps aren't specific. Paddling to the right takes you upstream to site #49 and to the left to site #50 (both of which are nice). Past site #50 you go under Hwy 65 and into the Apalachicola River Wildlife and Environmental Area which has its own large network of paddling rivers.
There is a nice vault toilet building here, Pavilion with 2 picnic tables, grills, fire rings, the ramp, small dock/pier, and little hiking trail with interpretive signs. Nice views as well! I had T-Mobile & AT& T signals here but a booster definitely helps. Using my WiFi with booster I had 26+ down and 8 up.

Cash Creek is easily accessible from Hwy 65 - go 4.3 miles north from Hwy 98 in Eastpoint. Turn right at the well-marked unpaved road for Cash Creek on the right and continue to the campground. PLEASE NOTE: Currently, Google Maps does not recognize this road - it shows a turn onto a much smaller road 0.4 miles south. Do not follow Google Maps directions. Please review the overall map for campsites at Tate's Hell State Forest.
