Our GPS brought us right to the campground (CG). This was our third time staying in what we consider one of our top 5 CGs. Check-in was quick and easy. We proceeded to pull through site 49, which was plenty long enough for our 40’ fifth wheel and F450. The water and electric were centered on the pad. The sewer sat a little farther back on the pad, but that was not an issue. You can hear the river really well from site 49, and that is the major reason we chose this site. If you don't like the sound of a raging river, you would want to get a site further down or a site not on the river. We had good water pressure around 50 psi, 2 bars on Verizon, and the CG WiFi was okay. Even though there were mature trees, we got a good north shot for Starlink. Satellite could be iffy depending on your site. Sites are okay spaced, with some sites closer together than others. Our utilities side neighbor was very close, and our yard side was nearby. They have a nice laundry with 3 washers and dryers that cost $1.50 to wash/dry. There was a significant increase in train traffic from the tracks across the river as compared to our last stay. There were also some updates, such as putting in a really nice pavilion with an outdoor fireplace plus some landscaping additions. The Westfir/Oakridge area is known as the mountain biking capital of the Northwest, and there are a multitude of biking and hiking trails.

Second stay at Casey’s. Still as good as it was last time. Clean, friendly. Cell service vastly improved over last time. We have both Verizon and AT&T. Good fast service.

Facilities and grounds are absolute GRADE A. The views are tough to beat. Very peaceful setting (except for the occasional train going by on the other side of the river). What is matchless in my estimation is the quality of the host’s! We are relative newbies to RV-ing and even though we had our tires checked before departing, the tire store we have used forever checked us and then sent us down the road with a loosened valve core. Fast forward to departure time after our great vacation. Raised the jacks only to discover that we had a flat. Camp host Scott spent time and resources to get us back on the road. This is one of those invaluable “amenities” that you can’t put a price on! Thank you Scott and thank you Casey’s Riverside RV Park for the awesome experience!

As full-time 'WORKING' RVers the poor wifi/cell connectivity made for numerous challenges. So much so that we came very close to cutting our stay short because we couldn't get our work done. Slow speeds made for computer delays and dropped cell phone calls. Zoom calls were not an option.
If connectivity is important to you, be warned.
Note- we had all these cell/wifi challenges even with having enhanced equipment: Pepwave mobile router with redundancy providers (T-moble, AT&T, Verizon) and an enhanced roof antenna.
Investing in stronger wifi throughout the park would be one place the owners could improve.
As a mountain biker, I enjoyed being close to multiple challenging MTB trails and access to 3-4 different shuttle companies. And yes, Oakridge is known as a mountain bike destination.
- Cheers to small towns that embrace mountain biking!
With all this said, I would return so long as I don't need to get any real work done. :)

It is an RV park, so the spaces are lined up, but they arrange them so you are not exactly side to side and there is a decent amount of space between the pitches. Book online and you can secure your exact pitch.
Lots of grass, and a small fenced dog run. Private showers which are well maintained.
Gorgeous stop for hiking and fishing and exploring the Three Sisters Wilderness particularly when forest service campgrounds are not yet open.
Spotty WIFI

The RV park is very well maintained and sits along side the Willamette river with many of the sites right along the bank. The sites are pretty spacious for an RV park with a nice grassy area between each pad. Many of them are pull-through. The park includes decent WiFi and we had good service with both AT&T and Verizon.
There is an active railway across the river but we didn’t find it too loud and the trains infrequent.
There is a lot to explore in the surrounding area. We’ll definitely be back.

We followed our GPS right to the campground (CG). The nice lady came right out to us from the office and checked us in. We then proceeded to pull through site 52 with FHUs for our two week’s stay. This was our second time here and we love this CG. The pull through was plenty long. We were able to maneuver our 5th wheel to position it around a large shade tree so we could get our slide and awning out plus have the utilities more centered on our rig. We had great water pressure and needed to use our reducer. Their cable worked well but WiFi would slow way down to the point of being unusable during peak periods (mid morning and late afternoon). We got two bars on Verizon. There’s also a nice sized fenced dog area and decent priced laundry. There’s a self-serve soft ice cream station for $1 at their small pavilion. River front sites are fairly uniform in size but the high 30s through mid 40s will give you the best river view plus you can really hear the rushing of the river. We nicknamed back-in sites 61-68 at the end of the CG “kiddies corner” as this was where the families camped during our stay, which included over the 4th of July. The CG does not allow fireworks and this fact seemed to be a draw for campers with dogs to escape fireworks noise. Like many CGs we’ve stayed in this year, this one was pretty full everyday. Unless you want to stay for a day or two or move sites every other day, you need to reserve early. Based on their full capacity, they need to upgrade their WiFi and need additional garbage dumpster capacity. Other than that, Casey’s is a first class operation and still our favorite campground out of the 150+ CGs we’ve stayed in.

An unprecedented heat wave approached the Pacific Northwest with temperatures well over 100, as we spent a few days at Casey's Riverside RV Park in Westfir, Oregon. Located on the Willamette River, this is not a normal one night stand place to stay, this is where you go for a long weekend to just kick back, hang out, and chill. Though it was hard to "chill" over this weekend, but the park did their best to make their guests comfortable, including a soft-serve Ice Cream maker at a $1.00 a cone.
The river was inviting for kids and adults to cool off. During the hottest part of the days, everyone retreated into their air conditioned RVs, emerging in the evening when the temperatures dropped to a more comfortable level and the sun went behind the mountains.
Originally, we were scheduled to be here in May of 2021 for an Airstream Newbie Rally with the Oregon Airstream club, unfortunately we had to cancel. As a newbie, I can appreciate the park more now that we have a little bit more experience under our belt. The pull through sites are long enough for those of us who need lots of room and they have front row seat to a view of the river, but the interior roads are a little narrow so navigating is doable, but could be a little daunting at first to a newbie.
Their internet was good, I am using it now to do this review. Cell service for us was non-existent, we're on T-mobile, but saw others on their phones.
The staff is wonderful, so helpful, friendly, and on top of things.
Hook ups are conveniently located for most. A transformer blew while here, probably with everyone running their air conditioners at full speed, but they had it serviced as quickly as possible on the same day and on a Saturday evening, and it only affected part of the park. The park is well maintained, you can see and feel how much they care, it is in the midst of nature so there is a bit of naturalness to it. :-)
Closest town is Oakridge and Eugene, Oregon is about 40 miles away.
Close by is some of Oregon's Covered bridges, find out more here https://www.oregonlive.com/travel/2017/09/oregons_54_covered_bridges_a_r.html.
