Didnt find the site right away had to call. We didn't go far enough... So site 3 is a tight squeeze. We are a 30ft travel trailer with full size truck. They have concrete tables that don't move lol. Great state park here at the end of March. Lake was very high some tent sites flooded. Make sure you walk the friendship hike. Beavers be... more

Great state park here at the end of March. Lake was very high some tent sites flooded. Make sure you walk the friendship hike. Beavers bend brewery has an awesome jalapeño beer!!

We had reservations for Quail Court in Carson Creek Campground. There is not a check in or check out site for the campground. Everything is done with a "Premium Parking Pass". We did not see any park personnel the whole time we were there. The roads in the campground are very bad. Tree roots coming out of the asphalt. Signs- forg... more
We had reservations for Quail Court in Carson Creek Campground. There is not a check in or check out site for the campground. Everything is done with a "Premium Parking Pass". We did not see any park personnel the whole time we were there. The roads in the campground are very bad. Tree roots coming out of the asphalt. Signs- forget about 'em. Found the Dump Station purely by accident and almost caused an accident. I have seen better dirt roads than the one leading to the Dump Station. If, and that's a big if, we come back we'll stay in the River Sites. Much prettier.

Really bad road to get down here. Couldn’t even get the car down there. Definitely free camping but not designated. Very open, no shade, right on the muddy part of the lake.
