Carefree Manor RV Resort

We stayed here for 16 days in January, we were hoping to stay an entire month, but not surprisingly they were full. They were kind enough to still charge us the monthly rate and just prorate it for our length of stay. We were very happy to find a place that was NOT 55+. The sites were FHU but very tight. The place is a mix of RVs and manufactured homes, and it is all very well kept. They had a very nice pool and hot tub that we used a few times during our stay. They also have a lot of scheduled activities throughout the week, but we did not partake in any of them. They also have laundry on site, and you either need to buy a special card or use an app.

The RV park is also close to a lot of hiking in the Superstition Mountains as well as food and shopping.

For cell signal we had full bars of 5G on our Verizon phones, however we could not do a darn thing on them! I don't know if that area is considered a "congested area" so we were being throttled??? But as soon as we left the park and drove a few blocks we would be able to use our phones again. We also have an AT&T hotspot that had full bars of 4G with upload and download speeds at 12MBPS (our hotspot is only 4G and only goes up to 12MBPS, so it may be even better if your device allows it). Thankfully we were able to do everything we needed on our hotspot, including work, streaming, and using our phones through it.

Overall we really have no complaints about this place other than the spaces were pretty tight and the weird thing with Verizon (which is nothing against the park itself). We would definitely stay here again!

The park has the majority of sites with full time residents or folks that rent for a year or the season. Very nice park and great location... close to anything you need but out of the craziness of the PHX metro area. Did the drive to Tortilla Flat, AZ... nice small town. This was the off season so many places of interest were only running at a reduced capacity.
