This place of the nicest sites I've seen with large level pads a concrete table, an extra table for a water jug and a lantern pole. Access to the lake, many people were fishing with success just off the shore. Easy access to many hiking trails including the Elk River Trail a fairly strenuous 10 or 15 mile point to point hike which has ... more

I expect COE campgrounds to be good and this one is no exception. The sites are large and there is a site for ever size rig. There's not much to do here if you don't fish. Lovely campground with large sites. Most sites face where or are on the water. Sites have grill, fire ring and picnic table. Electric on site 30 amp only. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and the campground to ourselves. Camphor brought over some firewood. Boat ramp in campground and toes. Dump station on property. Sites are 16.... more
