A well maintain woodland setting state park just a few minutes walk to the beach passing historical World War II sites. We have a 30 foot class a motorhome has no difficulty driving through the park no low hanging branches to catch you out sites are paved level side to side some on a slight slope which may cause a couple issues but all in all this Campground is well worth the visit when reserving your site space pay attention to the length of the site if they say it’s only 15 feet in length it is 15 feet in length there is no fudge factor. It would appear that most of the sites are electric and water hook up ordering but they do have two or three dump stations on the way out which are clean and well-maintained we stayed here in March 2022 weather was cold the store was not open until April 1 but still had it enjoyable visit

This park is beautiful, so much to do and see. We camped over Christmas, and the park was quiet. Lots of walking trails and beach, our dogs loved it. We were bummed that the Bike Barn was closed, but appreciated that the park offered free bikes for guests. Close to two cool, trendy beach towns (Lewes and Rehoboth Beach).

Most, but not all, sites are paved and level. Some are shallow, so keep that in mind for larger rigs.
Campstore is conveniently located but was temporarily closed during our stay.
Fire rings are of great quality; sturdy and raised to facilitate campfires.
Check out the trails, which aren't always well-marked but eventually lead to a terrific and long beach/surf. And bring the bikes! Miles of easy bike paths. We will certainly return.

Bathrooms are very clean, (family style bathrooms with a shower in every bathroom, 8 total.) campstore with goodies and the forgotten supplies and firewood/ice.
A lot of history in fort miles old military equipment to look at. Hawk watch tower out at the beach and stunning white sandy beaches to lounge on. Definitely would love to come back in the future.

Facilities were nice and clean and they had new washers next to the camp store. The staff personnel were very nice and helpful and the nature center was great as well. Biked to see all the military sites as well as the bird watching area. Was quite busy with families but quieted down at night as expected.

This large and well maintained campground is a fantastic base campground for exploring the Delaware beaches! Our favorite part was the super convenient and gorgeous bike trail from the campground that connects you to Downtown Rehoboth Beach. We have e-bikes which made the daily commute a breeze. And talk about saving big bucks when you compare the cost of the campground to Rehoboth Beach hotels!
The campground has recently been renovated and all sites are fairly level with 30/50 amp and water hookups. No sewer, but there is a triple dump station as you exit the park. Triple! Many of the sites are quite close together with no the best fire ring placement, but do your research via Google earth, campsitephotos.com and reserve america and you will do just fine.
Some reviews state a noisy atmosphere but I can say after staying here during peak season in July that the weekdays are surprisingly quiet for a campground of this size.
There are very few big rig friendly sites. Note that many of the sites indicate their length on RA, but they give you space to park your TV at an angle near the road so you can subtract at least 5 feet from your total rig length (TV and TT or 5-er) when selecting sites that indicate their site length. So a 40' site length could really accommodate a total rig length of 45-47'. There is a parking lot near the campground entrance to park your TV ornfor visitors as a backup plan.
Best (RV) sites: D35, E03, E05 and E07 (ADA)

There is a small camp store that mainly sells firewood and ice. Campsites were decent size and the fire pits were cool! They were elevated with a place to store wood to keep it dry. We also found the campground to be fairly quiet but then again, our stay was Sunday through Friday. The weather was perfect so we spent a lot of time outside. We definitely intend on returning.

Loved this park. Was quiet, although some spaces were close together, we truly enjoyed our site. Bathhouses were nice and family showers make it an easy family trip to clean up for the night with little ones. Already planning our next trip!

Very nice shady park, great camp store for necessities. Some shallow RV sites are really shallow, with no room to park your tow vehicle. Some pads not level, really needed to use all my blocks and tongue was 4 inches off the ground, but all good. Out of state nightly rate slightly higher.

Great state park. Good tree cover, walking trails, Fort Miles for history buffs like my hubby, and several access points to the beach. No OTA channels. Many tent campers and bicyclists.
