Gorgeous fairly private campsites, some with grass. We were so close to the beach you could hear the surf. There were bald eagles everywhere and the whales were migrating evidently, but we didn't have time to go check it out. There are tons of trails and paved bike trails. Kids were riding scooters all over. Doggies were well behaved (... more

First time to the Long Beach Peninsula. This campground had 2 lighthouses to explore, lots of beaches to walk and some interesting architecture to view along the peninsula. The camp site where on a loop and easy to negotiate. Neighbors not too close. plenty of screen between sites. No cellular at the campsite but does exist in the p... more

We stayed here the last week of October 2020. We paid the senior off season rate for a hookup site; senior off season without hookups is $0.00 if you have a Washington resident senior pass. This is Washington in the fall so you have to remember that the weather can be wet; when we were there the days were sunny and nights cool. The sit... more

Location is nice but for the money your get very very little. Site was supposed to be 50’, no way, maybe 30’. I had asked if 2 class B vans could share site, they said sure, just pay extra vehicle fee. When we checked in ranger said can’t do that so one of our vans had to go to overflow. We got a site without hookups, at least expect a... more

On our weeklong trip down the Washington and Oregon coast I planned to stop here for one night. I've been to Cape D doing trail work with Washington Trails Association. I've only stayed in the vacation homes in the past. As I was not sure of how full it would be on our arrival on December 27th, so I reserved the only reservable spo... more

Spent 3 nights at this wonderful state park along the Pacific Ocean. Site are level and spacious, beach access was a short walk from the campsite; restrooms and hot showers an added bonus. We hiked to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, which turned out to be one of the best we’ve visited. Interestingly enough, there is a civil w... more

Shoshanna’s review is excellent. It really covers all the relevant issues and speaks for me and my experience. Non reserved camping options in July are limited in this area, and this campground was busy! I basically slept there, and after breaking camp, biked the (paved) Discovery trail from a trail head (Beard’s Hollow) within the par... more
