This is a small campground with a single loop. While the National forest claims the largest RV that can fit is 45 feet, I would not recommend anything other than a small trailer for the loop area. It is a tight loop and almost single lane.
There is a small walk-in tent area and then a handfull of RV sites. The area is lightly treed and sites are well spaced. The road was very good, unlike other campgrounds in the area and also had the best cellular coverage.
There were vault toilets and trash dumpsters and water spigots.

We arrived at this secluded mountain-top National Park campground on a chilly, wet evening in late May with snow on the ground. For a while we were the only visitors. The sites are nicely paved but with no services. There are well-maintained facilities nearby however. The attraction here is the natural beauty of the place, perched on the edge of a rim overlooking the winding Green River. We were told by the friendly park ranger that the park gets much busier with warmer weather. That made me pleased to see the snow, even in late May.
Cell coverage is pretty spotty up here but it improves as you head down the mountain road. All in all a beautiful spot to spend the night.

Some tent sites right on the canyon with amazing views. Limited amounts of level rv sites.
No host on site and we seen no other people of authority. On the weekend large group of campers making all kinds of noise till 10 pm including foul language loose dog was in other campsites barking at people. We were pretty far from it but felt bad for some of the campers closer to them. The water seemed to be a bit brown.
Also someone was emptying a tote tank in the pit toilet and rinsing his hose at the drinking faucet.

We got in Monday night in early May with our 30 ft RV around 7pm and found a number of available spots. The site is surrounded by trees and next to the rim trail. We walked a mile up to the Red Canyon viewpoint and must say we enjoyed the Canyon Rim Outlook more. It's lovely overall!

This is a small little campground right off the Red Canyon road. It is in a large meadow with many poderosa pine trees. Some of the sites have shade. I chose a more open site for the solar. And it is truly right on the edge of the canyon. The walk-in tent sites are just feet from the canyon rim and have amazing views of the canyon and Flaming Gorge Reservoir. There is a nice Canyon Rim trail with many good lookout locations. Clean pit toilets, water spickets around the camground, and trash service. The campground is about 2 miles from the Red Canyon Visitor Center, a nice stop, open 9-6 from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There are also a few other campgrounds that are very close. I had no trouble finding a spot mid week in early July. The best thing is the quiet, and pretty good cell service if you need to work, or stay connected.

This is one of several in the area. But, because we were here in early November, it was the only campground open. The campground has 16 sites, all paved. However, this is a dispersed campground, so be aware. There ARE water spigot throughout but this late in the season, the water is turn off. Elevation is close to 7,000 feet. You are right on the rim of Flaming Gorge and the views could not be better. Our site was on the edge of a clearing by choice. Yesterday, we had 16 big horn sheep in our front yard, rams and does. When the males were not trying to jump the females, they all just played down in front of us as if we were not there. If not sheep, we had deer. We totally enjoyed our stay. We were the only ones here. The weather was perfect. Cold at night. Blue sky during the day, about 64 degrees. But it could have been worse this late in the year. They had already had snow, which had melted before we arrived. We paid $6 per day, with our Federal Senior Pass. Sites have a concrete picnic table and fire ring. Cell signal in campground and free WiFi at lodge, 1 mile away.
