Thank you Hemphill county for making an affordable little camp ground for travelers passing through your community. This place is very well taken care of and for 20$ you get water, electricity and a dump site. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!

Self check in was a breeze. Clean and well maintained park. Electric and water. Next to fairgrounds so there was horse manure here and there.

We were taking the backroads from St Louis to New Mexico and needed a stopover. Not many choices around this area, but this was perfect for an overnight. We had the place to ourselves so it was quiet. Not sure how hookups would work if it was crowded as there is one electric post and one water spigot between two sites. Not sure if there is a restroom as we are self contained. Beware of local gas stations. Most are too small to accommodate a camper. Best bet is to get gas on the Northeast side of town.

This park has spacious spots with 30 amp, water, asphalt pads and a dump station. The park is peaceful and adjacent to a well done rodeo arena. It was a welcome surprise as we drove into town at a late hour searching for an overnight rest.
