Nomad View Dispersed Camping | Buffalo Gap National Grassland – Wall, SD
WOW – amazing is an understatement!!! 10 minutes south of the town of Wall where you can find all your amenities, and 10 minutes north of the Badlands entrance, you simply cannot beat the views and the convenience of these amazing boondocking spots. – marchelle
Ontonagon Township Park Campground | City Park – Ontonagon, MI
The lakefront sites were amazing! When we checked in, we were able to put our name on a list for the lakefront sites. Luckily for us, one of the people above us on the list did not show up, so we got one of the sites. – Home Wherever We Roam
Rivers Fork Lodge and RV Park | RV Park – North Fork, ID
The riverfront back-in sites were in an absolutely beautiful location, right on the bank of the Salmon River. It was very serene, and there was always the sound of the fast-moving river. – John T
Sawnee Campground | Army Corps Of Engineers – Cumming, GA
We loved our time there and the views from our site were spectacular. We would definitely return again, but we would also target the sites I mentioned above. – traderboynh
Elk Creek Campground & RV Park | RV Park – Grand Lake, CO
We loved this place so much! Really close to town and Rocky Mountain NP. Seriously loved it. There are moose and deer that frequent the campground, great spacing between most sites, a playground (closed cause Covid19), and showers and laundry room. – Family in Wanderland
Goose Creek State Park | North Carolina State Park – Washington, NC
Loved this state park campground! Sites have a lot of space between them and the campground is very quiet. Close to Washington and Bath which are really nice little waterfront towns worth a visit. – Cat
Sand Flat Dispersed Camping | Shasta National Forest – Mount Shasta, CA
Absolutely beautiful spot. Felt I had the mountain all to myself. It was slow getting my Airstream 22FB up here, but I am so happy I did. Easily my favorite spot so far. – Alex
Tobacco River Campground | Kootenai National Forest – Rexford, MT
We had 1 Bald Eagle in the tree behind the camper every morning & the last day the mating pair were within feet of each other, peering out over their lake. – Dirk
Elkamp Eastcreek | RV Park – Mineral, WA
This campground is a beautiful serene getaway. Mt. Rainer National Park is just a few miles away and we were lucky and had a couple of beautiful days where the mountain was in full view in the park. – Third Act Reimagined
Ellis Lock #11 Campground | Muskingum River State Park – Zanesville, OH
Great place on the river. The fire pits look like it could be party central on the weekends but we were here on a Monday night so it was quiet and we had the whole place to ourselves. The place was covered in fog in the morning. – Lorraine
Ingalls Homestead Campground – De Smet, SD
Visiting the Ingalls Homestead was a must-do for the summer trip we planned for our granddaughter. It surpassed our expectations in every way. – tacksonthedeck
Green River Lakes Dispersed | Bridger-Teton National Forest – Cora, WY
BLM Perfection, friends. The view from our spot had the Green River on one side and stunning Square Top Mountain on the other. Yosemite-worthy views! – Smileymaisie
Aroostook State Park | Maine State Park – Presque Isle, ME

Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge | Dept. Fish & Wildlife – Alamo, NV
I pulled in Friday evening at dusk to the sound of tiny bats flapping all around me, it was magical. Clean campsite. Pretty lake. Lots of wildlife. Would love to stay here again one day and do some exploring. – karmathebum
Gateway to Cape Cod Thousand Trails | RV Park – Rochester, MA
We loved how centrally locates it was. Went to Plymouth, Cape Cod, Newport RI, and Mystic CT all within an 1:15 in our toad. The campsite was HUGE and under trees camping was wonderful. – Denesehall12
Cheraw State Park | South Carolina State Park – Cheraw, SC
A waterfront site in this little campground is a great place to relax. Lake Juniper is beautiful, as are the sunsets over it. This was our second trip to Cheraw, and we’ll return again. – DRC
Potts Preserve – Hooty Point Campground | Southwest Florida Water Management District – Inverness, FL
Beautiful place. I have camped here several times. Spots are right on the Withlacoochee River. You can fish and canoe or kayak right from your site. – Chrissy
Horsethief Lake Campground | Black Hills National Forest – Keystone, SD
Site was level parking and a grassy spot for tents sitting just below in the trees. It’s a short drive past Mount Rushmore to get into Keystone, maybe 4 miles to pick up any other needs. – BarbWire
Allens Bar Campground – Forks, WA
Our amazing campsite for the second night in a row. The soothing sounds of the glacial Hoh River drift us to sleep easily. It’s super refreshing after a day of hiking! – ben_stewart
Nauvoo State Park | Illinois State Park – Nauvoo, IL
The campground is nestled in a grove of old pine trees and we enjoyed a pleasant evening with a nice breeze. The nearby lake isn’t very large, but is really pretty. – ray01brown
Soap Creek Dispersed Camping | BLM – Marble Canyon, AZ
This spot is worth the views as this is one of the most beautiful spots in all of AZ in our opinion! We love this spot and will absolutely camp here again. – znewsome
