Camping Parc et Mer Mont Louis

Had an amazing time Sept 2020. Right by the sea (St Lawrence estuary) and Chic Choc mountains. Owners allowed us to switch to site overlooking the sea. Very nice camp sites with full servicing available.

Amazing experience with wind n waves. Wonderful picture perfect sunsets. Nearby Mont St Peter is para gliding capital, ballooning and para sailing. Whale watching at Gaspe abt 100 miles east.

Washrooms are very clean, laundromat n dryer. Shops n restaurant abt a mile away.

Free EV charging or charge on 50amps / 30 amp sites.

We stayed here September 8-11, 2019. The park is generally set up for large RVs and also offers stationary RVs and some small cabins (right on the beach!) for rent. Many sites have direct views of the Seaway. There are two small laundry facilities. Everything was clean and tidy. You can reach the town via sidewalk from the campground; it's <1/2mile or 1km..

We completely lucked out and had our choice of the two prime sites in the park: 50 and 51. These are huge sites on the bluff and set apart from the main rows in the center. Stairs to the beach below the bluff were only ~25yards/meters away. Because it was off season and uncrowded, the dogs were able to explore the beach without restrictions.

The staff were friendly and helpful. This is an excellent base from which to explore this part of the Gaspe Peninsula.

We stayed at Parc et Mer Mont-Louis for 5-nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The campground is big rig friendly, with 50 and 30 amp full hook-up sites. We reserved an electric only, 20 amp site to maximize our water views – we were very happy with our choice. We decided to spend 5-days enjoying the beautiful water views, forgoing our planned excursions.
