Overall Rating

Beautiful. Quiet and dark. You can choose a site in the woods, or on the river. It's very popular, so I'll hope you can get a reservation. We were lucky enough to drive in and snag a site in the woods the first night, and stayed a second night right on the river. Very sweet and helpful people running the show here. Some mud, but nothing to dampen your spirits. It's the woods, after all. Lovely laundry room in the barn. The town of Manchester is right down the road with great food (Ye Olde Tavern) , a three story book store (Northshire Books) and then...... ORVIS. And the American Museum of Fly Fishing!
