Camping Lido

I only stayed one night, and it was a Saturday, so things might be different on a weekday. This campground is VEEY crowded, and almost everyone there appears to be permanent guests. Trailer are crowded together with little :'Lebensraum'. Few spaces for transients. Lot of kids everywhere. Its more like a block party than a campground! Hosts are very friendly, although they don't speak much English. My site was really part of the front yard of one of the permanent residents (who smiled and offered to move her car so that I could better access my space!) Noiise from the nearby highway was mildly annoying. Didn't use the bathrooms or laundry, so can't comment on them. For all the crowd, the campground seems to be clean and well-kept. Cell service was adequate, WiFi was free a,d strong at my site.

Very few sites available for travelers. It appeared to be all local people who all seemed to know each other. Very noisy with lots of children, but of course we pulled in on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, we don't speak French and the staff didn't speak much English. But again, we are in a French-speaking area, so it wasn't unexpected.
