this is a nice little campground. could use some work, but for one night it was just fine. a little loud considering I40 is right in the front yard, but it is nice to be close to the interstate for traveling.

We stayed here while we were traveling through - wouldn't recommend staying for any amount of time. There isn't much to it. Lots of full-time, stationary folks. We came in during COVID - so everything was closed, including the office. We showed up, paid and picked a site.
Site was easy to get to - they're all pretty much pull-through sites.
FHU - some have 30amp, some have 50amp.
Had good cell signal on both AT&T and Verizon - could stream all night.
It was a bit too ghetto (for lack of a better word) for our taste. Overall though, it was a decent stopover for a night.

“Dishonest and horrible, not really honoring a reservation”
noted 8/30/2022
Horrible and dishonest place. I booked a primitive camping cabin for 2 nights during national holiday. Several days later and shortly before check-in date I got a call, from the same individual, demanding me to send her my DL and a "background check application" - unbelievable. Luckily, I was able change to normal campground, quick, despite it being big holiday. This place must be unsafe, shady location and clearly run by dishonest people, who would not honor the reservation. Also, I learned that they have mostly long-term residents in cabins, which not a good thing for a traveler. Ove the last 2 decades, I had extensively traveled all over this country - I had never faced this for a short stay in any of the numerous campgrounds I visited, not even at any vacation home or hotel. I believe that very likely I had been discriminated against, based on my ethnic origin - I have accent, also I think these people thought they can do this to me this because they thought I was a new immigrant who doesn't know the rules - and I do know the normal rules, backtground checks and sending DL for a 2 days stay is extremely shady and unheard of. No background check was mentioned when I made a booking over the phone , and I talked to the very same, dishonest, person. Not to even mention that sending them a driver's license is a way to get identity stolen.
