Yes... It's the best way to see Baja, just not for everyone. Be prepared for endless road work, rough potholes, narrow lanes, no shoulders, unmarked washouts, slow moving farm and transport trucks, livestock, and the most challenging of all - cyclists.

Yes! Incredible experience but not for the faint of heart. We did it in a 42 ft fifth wheel.

Personally, we have not, but we belong to a group of RV'ers and several of them do. It's smart to get Mexican insurance, they say. My sister lives just outside of LaPaz and she drives (not an RV) a couple of times a year back and forth to Idaho/Utah with no problem whatsoever.

Thousands of tourist drive various vehicles of all shorts and lengths down Baja every year. Yes I am pulling a 20’ trailer this year but have driven a 30’ RV with no issues.
