Enjoyed the location! About 45-1hr drive to Chicago. A bit of road noise but nothing major. Right on a bike path. Use the handicap showers, the other shower heads are horrible. Overall Rating

Close to downtown Chicago and plenty to do in the surrounding area, especially if you like breweries! Palatine is far enough out of the city where you really don't have too much traffic and you can still hop a train downtown. In addition to the small (5 site) RV loop, there are also 13 tent sites available. This campground is located in the NW suburbs of Chicago and is about a 1 hour drive (depending on traffic) to downtown.
