We needed a place to stay as we evacuated from Hurricane Idalia. Several other FL sites were closed, but they were open and welcomed us in. We didn’t know about this place until of this time. We are lucky we found this place. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. We were impressed by the cleanliness and how well kept it is. Plus the fun amenities (which we didn’t use because of the rain), we will be back to enjoy appropriately.

This is a Must Do!!!
It may be a little pricy for an RV park but this is an all out awesome VACATION resort that’s worth every penny. We were so excited to go to this resort and it met all of our expectations. Everything is laid out beautifully and all the spots are spacious. The place has a wonderful tropical vibe with all our favorite coastal colors and the landscaping is perfect. Riding our beach cruiser bicycles around felt like we were in a beach town. They have 2 pools, 2 bars, good food, the camp store has a variety of things to choose from, and lots of activities for kids. All staff are attentive to make this place really nice. We liked this place so much we have already booked it again.
Laundry was $1.75 a load and they had the pay with an app as an option available if you don’t want to deal with all the quarters. The app they use is Washco and they give you a bonus $3.50 when you sign up.
There are a lot of cabins here, so if family and friends that don’t RV want to vacation together - it’s a great option.

Check in is very easy and the sites are level. Campground is clean and it has laundry, pool with a slide, camp store, WiFi, miniature golf and restaurants on site. It’s a little pricey but a few drinks at the tiki bar and you forget about the price. Staff is very friendly and garbage pickup is at your site.

We had a tiki site near the activities. Great access to the pool and tiki bar. You could hear the music at the site, but at 10 pm it was quiet. Will go back

It was a stay for my bday and tropical storm Nicole decided to plow through Polk County at the same time. We received a text to evacuate but we were able to sign a waiver and they put us in a cabin for safety. So thoughtful of them and we are grateful as local parks were full.
One thing they may want to consider is an inside venue for food/bar. It can still rain in Margaritaville. Otherwise, will definitely be back. Lakeside pool was relaxing.

We arrived on Thursday evening for a 3 day weekend. Our site was a back in site, 225, with no tiki hut but I did see quite a few that had the tikis on site. Our site was nicely landscaped, well kept, and extremely clean. Sites are side by side with no privacy offered by any landscaping. The premium sites are closer to the bars and pools so if that's your goal, then aim for one of them. The pull thru sites are also closer. Back in sites a little further away.
There are at least two dog parks on site that are decent. LOTS of dog waste clean up stations so that was super convenient. Also a dog spa which is a really nice area to bathe your pups!
There are two pools, the main one is more geared for kids with a big slide and lots of fun things around it. It was packed to overflowing all 3 days we were there. The second pool, The chill pool, is more for adults and is the newer pool. It was also packed but not unbearable. Get there early if you want a shady to sit under. There is mini golf, bingo, live bands, food trucks, and a ton of other stuff.
Frank's and Lola's food service in the main pool area is really good. Excellent pizza and other things to choose from. Both bars were good service and decent drinks. Little pricey but that's expected.
This place is targeted more for the younger to middle aged crowd (which we are) so it was great for us. I would not recommend this for someone wanting a quiet, relaxed, camping trip. People party at the bars til 10pm where there is live bands and fun activities and then go their campers/cabins and party more. So quiet time isn't really a thing here.
If you need wifi, you won't find it here. Our site must have been too far away to connect cause we never could get on.
Overall, we really liked it and will return but its definitely a 3 day trip and nothing more.

After 8 years of RVing, over 6 of which were full time, this is our favorite RV resort so far. We will share a short review here, but if you want more details of our experience, we have a detailed review at our website RVLove.com (link below)
We visited this resort for 5 days right after the Tampa RV show in January 2022, then came back at the end of the month for another stay. We were amazed at how this relatively new park did so many things so well. The resort layout was amazing, the amenities and staff were superb, it has something for everyone, and impressive attention to detail.
Being so new, it still had some construction going on during our visit in January 2022, but we were very forgiving of it because we appreciated the vision, and everything that was already completed was at such a high standard. We have stayed at many luxury motor coach resorts, but this was superior in many ways AND it is open to all types of RVs. It is not exclusionary. Also.. though not inexpensive at $80-$200+ per night depending on your site, we actually feel it is very good value. There are tons of $80+/night Rv parks and resorts that leave a lot to be desired. But this resort has such incredible amenities and experiences for that price it doesn't feel overpriced to us at all.
RV sites are a mix of paver stones, artificial turf, crushed seashells, and beautiful high end landscaping. Sites are very spacious, and the resort is extremely easy to maneuver even with the biggest RVs. Premium sites add tiki huts, hammocks, and outdoor entertainment and cooking areas. There were three dog parks, including one with artificial turf and water features. The pool area is excellent, and the main hub has a tiki bar, stage, play areas, mini golf, and community fire pits.
The surrounding area, about half way between Orlando and Tampa, doesn't seem like a super desirable area at first, but there is actually quite a bit to do and see around it. That said, other than going for bike rides on the nearby trails, we mostly stayed in the resort because we simply loved it there.
If you are looking for total peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Sites near the center hub will hear music playing most of the day and evening. Sites far away from the center might have some road noise from the nearby road. But if you are looking for a fun destination resort to feel like you are on an island vacation while in your RV, it is hard to beat this resort. Oh, and if you or friends of yours don't have an RV, Camp Margaritaville in Auburndale also has about 100 cabanas they could stay in.
Again, we have much more detail and photos in our dedicated blog post review on our website if you want to learn more. Oh... and when we told them we loved our stay so much, they offered us a coupon code to share with our audience. Code RVLOVE will save you 10%.

Park does go wild on holiday weekends with very few spots if any available.

This was a really fun stop over Easter weekend between our normal state park stays. We were in pull through site with a cabana/tiki hut covered picnic table. The park was at 100% occupancy, but the pools weren't uncomfortably crowded. The drink prices at the poolside bar were fair. The highlight for us were the different food trucks each night. We had a great wifi signal from the free wifi. However, we heard from others in the 160's site numbers that wifi in that area was unreliable. An employee told us the wifi was poor in the area surrounding the main pool as well. I have a Pepwave Max Duo router and a Parsec Husky antenna. The Verizon signal was great with 34.12 Mbps and 5.5 Mbps upload speeds.
