Only one other camper, easy access. Had a great meal at the Amateurs bar and grill. Only suggestion would be better lighting in the park as I did t feel comfortable walking to the facilities at night.

could see the East (road side) had standing water/ice so those sites were not useable. Our power pole had one prong on the 30amp broken so we had enough extension cord to run to the #2 power and all was well. 1 other rig in lot. We turned on the shared water just to test and it worked!
This place is right along side the main road (34) thru town so you did hear road noise and far off trains.
Honestly, I am so grateful to this little city for providing this overnight for us!!

This RV park has pull through sites around a nice picnic, grassy area. Lots of trees and even though it is beside a busy highway and close to the railroad, it was a pleasant place to stay for one night.
There are 12 Electric sites. The parking is not level and is close to the roadway. I think it might be difficult for large RVs to have room on some of the sites. The public bathroom is quite a distance to walk across a picnic / playground area. I did not see showers. The park is very nice, but this would not be a place to stay for more than a night or two. There would not be room for slide outs, for example. It was nice to be able to rest overnight before continuing on with our trip.

Sites could have easily been pull through if they hadn’t separated them with the electric poles. Requires you to parallel park between the poles. Tried two different sites and couldn’t get positioned.....either we were partially blocking the road or our slides couldn’t clear the trees if we moved over. Sites were also very unlevel from side to side. There were a couple of junky RVs that looked like they’d been there a long time. We ended up driving another 25 miles to McCook, NE. There is a donation only city park with electric hookups......much nicer park.

Nice free spot! I’ve got a 28’ 5th wheel. No problem parking. I could fit in 5-6 other spots. They are plenty big but you kinda need to “parallel park” in most of them. There are 2-3 that would accommodate a 36’ rig. 30 and 50 amp FREE hook ups. Shared water. Dump station. 3-4 bars Verizon. It’s right next to the town sports complex... more

This is a cute little city park with a camping loop complete with about a dozen power boxes, each with 15A, 30A, & 50A plugs. There is also a dump station and potable water right at the entrance of the park. The loop is a gravel road, just off the main US 34, where the sites are of the "pull off" variety. The sign lists a 3 day limit for free, and then for longer stays they ask that you speak with the Chamber of Commerce. We asked permission and they said no problem, so we stayed for 5 days - we left a donation too.
The park has really got it all from playgrounds to disk golf to real golf to baseball diamonds. The really cool thing is that the creek that runs through the park seems to have been shored up with old crushed cars. So the banks of the creek are all flattened classic cars half buried into the dirt.
The bowling alley in town was fantastic, complete with some really good home cooking by the cafe inside the alley. Propane can be bought at the Co-Op just west of town.
