Traveling just stopped for night. Very COVID compliant. Unfortunately dog run was closed. Being sanitized. But, our little 7lb Maltese probably wouldn’t have used it. No grass
Close to freeway, noise. Got a quick sop over did the job.
Stacie would stay here again

We stayed here on our way to Joshua Tree National Park. We picked this park because it's a Passport America Park so we could stay for half price ((27.50 instead of 55) There is a security gate at the entrance so people can't just drive through who don't belong. We picked this park because it's a Passport America Park so we could stay for half price ((27.50 instead of 55) There is a security gate at the entrance so people can't just drive through who don't belong. It is built on the side of a hill, so each site is terraced to be level. No grass, just gravel. Very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms, showers, laundry are first rate. It is a large park, with what seem to be many long-term campers. It is a convenient location. Close to the freeway but far enough away that the noise isn't an issue. The office does ask for a lot of information about you and your rig, including registration and insurance info.

We live nearby but friends wanted to visit and do some hiking nearby so we decided to bring out our RV and camp along side. I had asked about the pool and jacuzzi and was assured it was heated and open. So we went hiking and were looking forward to the jacuzzi. Upon our return we went to the pool and found it all locked up. The biggest reason we stayed was for the jacuzzi. So that didn’t happen. I went to the office and was told it was closed due to lightning. There was no lightning. It was raining but no lightning at all. I hate being lied to. Don’t make up an answer because you think I will believe it.
Also when I checked in I pulled out my passport America card and they told me I needed to have let them know 24 hours in advance. So didn’t get that discount. The sites are very narrow. All pull throughs though, but one side was a steep hill with gravel over plastic, very slippery. The other is decomposed granite. Felt like I was going to fall in the gravel. Never did get WiFi or television signal to work correctly. Solar panels interfere with cell signal. So we were fairly disconnected. Freeway noise and the fire department all right there gives you the Walmart camping feel while having to pay for it all. We would stay again but only with passport America discount and a lot lower set of expectations.

The front desk receptionist, Alicia, was very pleasant and helpful and arranged for a late check-in with the evening security team. Alicia answered all of our questions and although she was a little hesitant to allow our dog, we appreciated her asking questions to get to know our specific dog and his behavior rather than blanketly following a policy that restricts all of one breed.
Richard, the night security guard, was awesome! Super friendly and helpful. Met us at the front gate, gave us a map and instructions on where our space was and even sold us an extra water hose he had which we inadvertently left at home.
