The park, restrooms, trails and access points were all well kept. Hosts did a great job of enforcing the rules and regulations. If you want to party and drive faster than 5mph then this won’t be your kind of place. The very nearby town of Beaverton has plenty to offer in the way of restaurants, taverns, or groceries. If you want to party and drive faster than 5mph then this won’t be your kind of place. The very nearby town of Beaverton has plenty to offer in the way of restaurants, taverns, or groceries. The campground is far enough away from the main highways that road noise is minimal. Sites are a mix of sun or shade, breezy or protected. AT&T service was excellent. Hosts even deliver your wood for only $3.00 a bundle.

This park is just north and west of the major flooding that resulted in many other places not being able to reopen. Borders Ross Lake and we were butted up to the lake. Gorgeous sunsets. Mostly quiet. Some folks played music on Sat night but Fri and Sun were quiet. Pet friendly. Dont miss the hidden trail to the south in memory of a young man and developed by a local eagle scout. There were tree identification and memorial placards, birdhouses, and windchimes along the short route but moved us a bit and we enjoyed the walk. Cell service was inaccessible at bathhouse but we watched youtube videos with no buffering at our site. Staff was friendly, professional and accomodating helping us with reservations. Definitely recommend and will return!

In between rain breaks we took the dogs for walks in the campground. There is also a really nice trail through the woods. There is a launch with two docks for kayaks and canoes.
We were on site 40, FHU. Handful of channels on the antenna and had full 4G Tmobile service.
We would definitely go back!

VERY HARD, RUSTY water. We've camped all over the state and have never experienced water this bad. You can smell it in the bathrooms and in the showers. The showers are even stained orange!
Sites are small and very close together. Well, the majority of them. If you want to reach out and touch your neighbor's camper/tent, this is the campground for you.
