We stayed in site 19 for 10 days. Great location. Lots of low hanging branch in the park we have a 40ft 5er it took a couple spotters to avoid having branches tear off an AC unit. The sewer drain is about 12 inches above ground so sewer ran up hill from my rig. Which in turn didn’t drain at all unless I held the sewer pipe to drain. Pool was nice. This park was mainly long term folks. Other guests were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t use any of the other facilities. There is an ice cream shop across the street that our kids enjoyed.
Ted who fills propane was the most rude unfriendly person I have come across in a while. He would not speak to me at all. I said good morning, not a word. I said how are you, not a word. Which caused a bunch of issues during the payment process and price verification. If you use their propane fill site read the finely printed sign. They are a flat rate fill service regardless of how many gallons you get. Ultimately it comes out to about $6.50 a gallon. I paid $65 for 10.7 gallons of propane. Go somewhere else. There is a tractor supply on Tampa Rd.
There was no attempt to fix the situation from the park until we left. We got a text offering a free night next time. Which there won’t be one. Poor way to run a business I shared my experience with several staff members to no avail. We are full timers and have traveled the country for 1.5 years now and this has topped the list as our worst customer service experiences.
I hope this review saves someone a bit of trouble.

Clean laundry (with change machine) and bath facilities. Pool is small but nice. A block from the Pinellas Trail. Bike or walk to Honeymoon Island, Dunedin and Ozona. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, ice cream shops and breweries. Our dog loved the dog beach at Honeymoon Island. Beautiful sunsets from the Dunedin Causeway. We are not RV park fans but there was so much to do in the area that we spent very little time in the park itself. Don’t miss Molly Goodheads in Ozona for seafood and old Florida vibes. HOB Brewing in Dunedin is very dog friendly with great beer right off the bike trail. We will make this a regular Florida stop on future trips.

We are on a week long camping trip with multiple stops. We need a place near Dunedin to visit with family for one night. Chris the manager was awesome! He kept informed with us before during and after our stay to ensure everything was going well.

It had a swimming pool and laundry facility...so really what else do you need? Chris, the owner, is very attentive and very available for all of your needs. The wifi here is the best we have ever experienced at an RV park. We felt very safe here and put 11 year oldade friends and played throughout the park with no worries. There is so much to do in close proximity to this place, including the towns of Dunedin, Tarpon Springs and the beautiful Clearwater Beaches. We will definitely be back!

This is an older, well worn park, with mostly long term residents. Sites are close, level with FHU, gravel pads and concrete patios. Communication with tne manager, Chris, is only via texting. The park is close to and long bike path, George's produce stand (that also sells fresh meat and fish) and Strachan's ice cream.

Originally we picked a 'corner' site for ease of backing our 36' 5th wheel into, but Chris upgraded us to a bigger spot and when we got there we were very thankful he did. Original spot would have been tight with not much room for our company to hang out. Site 56 plenty of room as are many others there. Will definitely stay again when in the area visiting friends and family.

My wife and I really love the personal service we receive from Chris the owner. This guy is the hardest working RV park owner I have ever met! He even gave me his cell number! Who does that? The property has a nice little clubhouse, bath house, propane station and awesome heated pool with a large BBQ and custom oversized umbrellas. The WIFI has been updated and has worked excellent for me this week which is very important as I run my business while I travel. Lastly, Location, Location, Location! 3 minutes to the Honeymoon Island bridge, 2 minutes to quaint Dunedin shops & restaurants, 15 minutes from historic Tarpon Springs and literally a 30 second bike to the famous bike trails. Put this place on your list of RV parks to visit. This is our 4th visit here in 2 years and we will be back again soon.

Overall, not a bad RV campground. Unfortunately, the manager was very rude and unapproachable. The WiFi was advertised as good, but never could get it to work. Our site was very tight, and close proximity to a nearby road made it fairly noisy. On the upside, we were close to the Pinellas Trail and Dunedin. Clearwater is expensive!!

We didn’t feel safe there. Chris the manager is part of the problem. He yells and swears at people all the time. He almost ran us over by his golf cart several times. He goes as fast as he can and doesn’t watch what he’s doing. At night, Chris walks around the RVs and listens to people talk and has been caught looking into people’s windows. Random cars and people drive through the park at different times of the day and night. The office staff has copied my credit card without permission. I found out they had it on file after they ran it without us knowing until we got the statement. Everything is old and ran down. The old shack they call the clubhouse stinks and is not cooled. The washers and dryers share the room so it gets super hot when someone does laundry. The water is nasty smelling and turns brown or green depending on the day. There are lots of nice parks that are cheaper in the area and they treat you good and with respect. Save the trouble and go somewhere else.

I have witnessed many times where he told people to just Fking leave, some even before they park on a spot, if they question him about anything. The spots are small. The shack he calls a clubhouse is a mess, it’s a laundry room with a small table and a few chairs. Most of everything they advertise is false. I highly recommend going across the street or somewhere else. There are tons of places close by that is cheaper and much better to stay that actually have what they advertise. I give this place a 1 star simply due to location but it’s not worth it. Save yourself the hassle and stay away from here.

This place is owned and operated by a hardworking young man and his sweet wife. Both of them were extremely accommodating. They went out of their way to help us with everything from recommending a yoga class to a rather silly and unusual favor involving our dog. :) Caladesi is clean and well-maintained. It has a fantastic location, just a block away from the Pinellas Trail and lots of cute shops and restaurants. That's super convenient because I was able to explore on my own when my husband was on the golf course. And the tenants and campers were very warm and friendly. One man introduced himself when we arrived and another lady offered to drive me to the yoga class. We got to socialize with even more of them during the free coffee and donuts event each Thursday morning. We haven't been to this area of Florida in more than ten years, but we had such a fantastic experience at Caladesi RV that we plan to return in a month or two. We can't wait. Thanks so much Chris and Nicole! We prefer to stay at a small and warm family-owned campground rather than the stuffy, corporate type so common these days.
