Was a nice place to stop for the night. It was very warm, and there wasn’t much aside from gravel so it was very warm for dog paws. Nice views of the bluffs and little light pollution so the night sky is amazing.

Plans NCL use Pickleball courts, which would make this a terrific winter spot. Check out Mesa Verde National Monument and Hovenweep National Monument while you stay here.

Sometimes a small gravel park is just the best. This little park is right on Hwy 191 but we never heard any road noise. Kerrie reached out the morning of our arrival and was there to greet us. They are finishing a new laundry/shower house at the back of the park which will be a big plus as the laundry in Bluff is pathetic. She also kept us informed about pending below freezing overnight temps and work they were doing on their WiFi.
We had open sky for our satellite, their WiFi worked great, as did our cell service. Not sure what issues other campers had, but we had none.
Loved the quiet and dark at night - able to sleep with windows open and enjoy the fresh air without light pollution.

We had Verizon phones with not a single bar of service so we’re hoping to use the site wifi. The place was full and with everyone using the wifi, we had no bandwidth at all. Not even enough to check emails.

Favorite - Really nothing; not trying to be snarky but, they're really isn't anything to this place.
Negatives - Nothing terribly negative other than the circa 1950's travel trailer that looks like it hasn't moved in several years parked in one of the sites with a swamp cooler on it and, whatever is going on in the back of the property. Also, sites are short requiring one to parallel park the tow rig. The place has/had potential but it's pretty rundown.

Checked in with Mark when we got there and picked our site. Mark is super knowledgeable about the area and can help point you in whatever direction you want to go. Sites are all gravel. Easy in and out, all RV sites are pull-thru. There are bathroom/shower facilities but I can't comment on them as we did not use them. This is a great spot to see a lot of the area (Bears Ears, Goosenecks State Park, Muki Dugway, Valley of the Gods, Four Corners and more). There was a balloon fiesta 1/14-1/16 over the weekend we were there which was a fun surprise. There is a laundromat in town but it REALLY needed TLC. Out of 30+ washers, only about 6 were working and out of 14 dryers only ONE worked so beware if you need to use it. Hopefully they get the machines fixed. As it was winter when we stayed here (and the balloon fiesta was going on), the local restaurants had limited hours so we missed out on trying most of them. We did have breakfast at the Twin Rocks Cafe which was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

The review about bad wifi is old - we were able to connect for work and even streamed a few times with no issues. Awesome canyon cliff views in the distance. They DO also have tent sites. Kinda seems like the park is under remodel or going through some changes, but that was okay with us. The host was extremely friendly and helpful.

Had an excellent experience. I was here just as the Labor Day weekend started and it was myself and another camper. The manager is very nice and helpful. Gave me excellent ideas of where to go visit locally.
No cell service with Verizon but they do offer free wifi.
